$5 per beer so $30 a 6er it was. The limit is 1 per person but I pulled some strings to get a 2nd one. They had elder pints for $3.25 at the brewpub.

All of mine have been allocated already. 7 for myself and 4 for others outside of a Pliny market.

Had the top of a Hennepin shatter on me tonight when opening. Badly wanted to just drink it with glass shards since it was my last but decided against it. :-/

Second anniversary for my wife and I this week. Pulled out cantillon fou foune and bruery white chocolate out for the occasion. Mind blowing awesomeness.

One of my coworkers wanted me to try a Stella Artois Cidre. It wasn't bad... kind of toed the line between sweet and dry which I wasn't expecting. I don't think I'd buy a case, but I could drink them on a hot summer day for sure.

Rivertowne....you go **** yourselves.

they never use real glasses around gamedays. at least they actually had what they said they had. its always "oh we just ran out of beer x, sorry."

yeah that's the one thing that I don't like about that place, and I don't think it's just game days. I've gone down there on a random Saturday with neither the Pirates or Pitt in town, and I was given a plastic cup. To me, they might as well had a bartender in the corner manning the keg pump.

Rogue Mocha Porter: Awesome as always

Green Flash West Coast IPA: Mmmmm......one of my new favorite IPAs, great stuff.

I was visiting the in-laws this weekend and stopped at Halftime in Poughkeepsie, NY. Great, great beer store with an incredible amount of beers. They have an entire long aisle devoted to Belgium, for all of you Belgian lovers out there.

On deck:

Too much of a "smoky" taste. Still haven't had an Imperial Stout that comes close to being as good as Storm King Stout.

New Belgium Pumpkick. Mediocre pumpkin beer. They add some cranberry juice flavor, but you can't tell it's there. Not pumpkiny enough for a pumpkin beer, IMO.

In CO and WA are there plans to create a pot-infused beer or beverage?

I have to work four Sundays a year and decided to reward myself with some Allagash Tripel (from the gas station).
Yum.

At least I was spared from watching that Pirates game.

Phin & Matts was great out of keg (so was glug, shine, johnnie walker, eagle rare, woodford reserve). Buddy brought me a White Hawk and Black Hawk from mendocino brewing company

was in Cleveland this past weekend, so I made sure to pick up a couple 4 packs of fathead headhunter IPA. I'll need to savor them as these 8 need to last me until Christmas.

Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale is good stuff. Is Sierra Nevada's Tumbler considered a brown ale? It's delicious. Also try Rouge's Hazelnut Brown Nectar.

IPAs don't age very well. The hops will fade after about a month or so. You may have to make another run.
