I usually just have a couple pumpkin beers each fall (this year it was a 4-pack of the Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale) and enjoy them as part of the fall beer menu. I really like the seasonal differences in beer selection and try to adjust my drinking by season.

One of the things I disliked about living in Florida was that it basically made me feel like I only could drink hefeweizens, witbiers, pilsners, etc...all the lighter beer types, because it just isn't fun drinking a heavy stout in 95 degree weather.

Troegs Perpetual IPA... This is very drinkable. The 7.5 snuck up on me a bit.

It has more of the citrusy hop flavor rather than being super bitter...

Yessir.

Penn Brewery Pumpkin Roll is baaaadd. I can't put my finger on it, but it's undrinkable. I like their other beers, but...wow.

Wow...Victory Dirtwolf is awesome! Big hops but fairly drinkable...especially for a 8.7% apv.

For some reason you can't get Founders in MD. I've been wanting to check that out for a while, might have to drive up to PA

No, but I've been to their store in Towson and I'm headed after work today. I imagine it's quite the same, great place to build a six pack.

That can't be right. Where did you see that price?

$105 for 12 - 22 oz. bottles

Just called them back, it was a mistake. It's $107 now. Should have tried to get it at lunch for $52

I'm in the North Hills. Found it at Whole Foods in Wexford.
Also just found out that the Hop House has (or had) Warlock on tap. May go tomorrow to see.

Thanks, I'm thinking their Octoberfest will be a go. Does anyone know if Yuengling still makes their black & tan? I'd like to get a porter or stout as well, but walking through the distributor and picking for other people is becoming more difficult than I'd imagine. Anyone have suggestions of Bells porter vs stout?
