I'm not sure who I want to lose more but it sure is a very entertaining match. It is very hard to cheer for our arch rival Mexico but I guess this is one of the few circumstances where they are the good guys.

They will probably be tortured for their performance when they get back home if they don't get out of the group stage.

The sad thing is that their futbol team is one of the few things that allows the Iranian people to escape the grasp of their religious leaders. If it was up to the Ayatollahs, futbol would be banned altogether, as it was for a while. One of the few occasions when Iranian women dare to discard their veils is when the team wins and the people are celebrating in the street, which is downright revolutionary. Those are not mere celebrations of a win in futbol, it is a way of showing the Ayatollahs that they can't take everything away from the people. Believe me, the Ayatollahs would have been delighted if the FIFA had banned the Iranian team from the World Cup.

I had waited 8years for that game. We played so damn good the first half and then in the second a completly diffrent team showed up. I sick of seeing Ali Daei play, he should have retired years ago.

And no the iranian players wont get tortured, we are not Iraq, they used to torture there players when they lost to us.
I hope we can some do something against Portegal but I know our WC ended only after 45min.
