Well as above i didnt like the 4-5-1 out the gates look... to me every person on this planet thought that czech was better then the U.S.
to me as a manager you have to instil in your guys that you are just as good as them if not better.... starting with one forward is telling your team... they are superior to us... and we need to make measure to keep it close... guess what... didnt happen...
also if you go with one forward you can not go with brian mcbride... although i am a mcbride fan he is great in the air and can finish... he is not a high energy player such as lets see a 22 year old... thats very fast... can finish... and fears nobody... no not me guys... eddie johnson...
also i believe donovan did let down until the game was out of reach... needed to get him the play more... beasely shouldnt see the sun in germany again... touch is horrible, and he is always afraid of being hit, touched, or even ran by... yes he is quick guess what... you need more then that at this level....
unfortunately i believe that pope's days are far behind him... not the determined, stud that he used to be... yes koller has 6 inches on you... but pope was 3 or 4 yards infront of him... if you go up next to him odds are that the ref calls it against koller because his arms are at popes shoulder level (looks as though your pushing off)
def not kellers best performance... i believe he had an oppurtunity to challenge on the third goal, but certainly can not blame
well we must beat italia now... and i dont like those odds... at this pt... we could go 0-3 which is not good for soccer in america!
