It sounds just like the squeel I was getting from that LCD monitor I complained about a fewmonths ago. It's very annoying. Only three out of 10 so far in my office can hear it, one lady is 33 and it drove her insane, another is 25 and couldn't hear it.

How loud did you have to have it? I sort of hear white noise.

Not loud at all. it's a higher pitch than white noise.

Suck it, teenagers! I'm 36 and I can hear it just fine (ugly high-pitched mosquito/malfunctioning fluorescent lamp-like noise). Not in my classroom!!!

(must be all those years spent on proctoring countless exams! )

Tomas, you are one funny dude!

Let me know if any of the youngsters try that ringtone in one of your classes.

Ug. It sounds like that "noise" from a TV being on, only higher pitched and annoying. I think if I were in that class I would punch the kid in the head and give their cell to the teacher.

You can laugh now, but wait until you reach the grand old age of 37. Everything goes and then it's downhill all the way......

wait until your offspring has arrived. Then you´ll see how fast time goes by. One day it´s a baby, the next day the question comes, dad, can we can play on your computer ?
