Yeah, I have been wanting to do the Ulduar Mount run. You have to get all of the achievements, correct? Glory of the ulduar raider?

I didn't get to play last night, I'll be buying the 310% because 250g is like copper.

Also, for some reason my patching took forever last night to write all the new files. Did anything chance in old world? Or was it all just predated stuff to get ready for cata?

Just interface/UI/talent stuff. No actual geographical changes.

I didn't think so, I saw a bunch of write in files for Hyjal and all of that. I seriously can't wait for this expansion now. I gotta get Kingslayer on one of my toons lol. I've seen it dozens of times and still can't get the damn thing down.

No, no...

It's 5000g to convert your flying mounts to the 310% speed.

It's 250g to be allowed to fly in Azeroth.

Different costs, different things.

From what I've gathered....pretty much all of the major file updates for the expansion were in this patch, so the loading/downloading/installing process will be fairly light the day Cata is released.

I could be wrong, though.

I believe that's what it was last night, took nearly an hour and a half maybe even more to fully patch the game, then another 1.4 gigs once I got to the play screen.

lol....my stupid guild tried for months to get to the Lich King (they never even got past Sindra). I join a guild run as a PUG last month that had just got to Sindra, we downed Sindra first try and LK second try. It's amazing how seamless some of those battles can be when you have a whole group that understands raid mechanics and awareness.

Malks, what spec did you go with for healing?

I've been debating on what I'm going to make my offspec.

It seems like Discipline would be pretty cool, where you can either go with a pure healing class, or a healing class that uses damage to heal, as well.

I went holy, and it dominates. The new Chakra spell state is awesome, I was able to play three instances last night, and it felt better than just bubble pennance smite repeat.

Yea, I've heard a lot of guff about Hunter.

Healing 5 man heroics is a joke with a holy priest.

I am going for the Hallowed acheivement on my priest. I love that title, and I remember it being pretty easy to do for my druid last year

I would love to start playing again but I really don't feel like joining a guild and going on raids but I suspect it would make it difficult to get anywhere on my own. :-(

Star Trek Online is good for casual gamers. WoW was always too in-depth for me, plus I'm not a big fantasy guy. It's still setting the bar for how MMO's should be, imo. It's going to be a while before something trumps it.

No breaks is recruiting as always, I'm in that guild and I'm casual, they are the largest guild on the server. They are legit fun too.

So I reinstalled the game but did not resub. I have been probably 1.5 years WoW free and 3 years free from total WoW takeover. I need an AA meeting because I might be getting pulled back.
