I can't say I'm overly pumped for tomorrow. Since I've explored all the new stuff minus the expansion zones lol.

Yeah, me too. I highly recommend starting a new character in the traditional zones. They've completely reworked the questlines in Azeroth, and they are much more enjoyable than before. I decided to start a mage last week, that I have up to around 25-26 or so. I'll probably wait a month or two to start leveling to 85....I don't feel like trying to compete with 200 other players doing the same exact quests at the same time.

Ditto with worgen/goblin...going to be a zoo in those starting zones.

I'll be leveling a hunter, because a) I have everything else, and b) I don't really care about grouping. I have 3 tank characters and 2 healers lol.

Nice. Yah, I figure that after a couple months, the initial mad dash to 85 will have come and gone, and it should be a little easier to level in the new zones. I'll just keep grinding my mage in the old zones while the high level gankers are distracted.

My frost mage is currently at 75. Hopefully by the time I level her to 80 and get some decent gear the lower level questing areas will have cleaned out a bit, since I want to do the Loremaster/Seeker title with this one. I started a new character as well...a fire mage this time. I love being a mage. It took me 4 years, but I finally found a class I really love. Plus I've gotten suuuuper lazy being able to port around from continent to continent and I don't think I can go back to boats/flight paths.

Has anyone started a dranei since the patch? Granted I only leveled her to 3, but the quests in the starter area were exactly the same as they always were. Wonder if that's because it's BC content? I knew they weren't changing Outlands but I figured that the dranei & belf areas would get a makeover as well.

Haven't looked at draenei zones. Love how they do the startup zones for Ironforge and SW factions now, so much easier.

I think I'll take the new mage and level her in Elwynn. I'd like to see the new content for sure.

I have Horde characters on another server, but I wore myself out after getting The Seeker rep with my main and didn't want to look at another Horde quest for a while. Is it still possible to circumvent the inability to send gold cross-faction by using the shared auction house as long as the characters are on the same server? I'd really like to move my Horde main and one other to my current server but I think there's some rule about how you can only bring 500 gold with you, and I don't want them to have nothing.

The only thing that I am torn about is the fact that I have all of my achievements/mounts/titles on my main (lock). I don't know if I want to continue as a lock in cataclysm, but I hate having a different character that doesn't have all of the cool stuff my other guy does. Meh.

Which is the vicious cycle lol. That being said, I'm glad I'm going Druid to 85.

Launch is in 50 minutes here but I'm dead tired, my CE is in the mail and will probably land somewhere in the snow tomorrow. So hopefully I can play on Wednesday, really looking forward to it, hardly played the last few months.

Woke up early this morning, took the boat from SW and started doing some questing in the new zone. As I figured, it was a complete freaking zoo. Had to be over 100 players at 6 AM all going after the same things. Horde and Alliance mostly kept to themselves, but there were a few A-holes.

Gonna take some adjustment to doing all my questing underwater in this zone  Pretty cool how they adapt it though. And flying in Azeroth is :thumb:

I'm actually kind of glad I'm still at 75. It'll take me a week or two to get to 80 and I'll probably just level to 85 (or as far as possible) in Northrend before I even bother moving on to the new areas. By that time everyone will (hopefully) have moved on to other areas. Not worth jockeying with that many other people to complete quests. I might even level my new character a bit before I try the new zones.
