Not even that thing in the bathtub scene in the Shining?

Not to ruin a potentially good thriller, but a NASA Extravehicular Mobility Unit, which is the current spacesuit for U.S. astronauts, has a maximum life-support capability of 8.5 hours. Considering the earlier video showed heavy damage to the orbiter that was carrying Ms. Bullock's character, there is no way that anyone could catch up to her in that amount of time.

She gonna died.

insidious? aye carumba. any scariness the first half had was totally obliterated by the goofy 3rd act.

I believe the movie is based on Ray Bradburys very short story "Kaleidoscope" and if you read that, then yeah, you are right, but it's more about the astronauts conversations with each other reflecting on their own lives...

That looks pretty rad. Its a good display of everyday man's idea of floating in space versus the more stark concept of /zero gravity/. People fantasize about jumping high in the air or floating around doing spins and what not, but bringing the idea that the individual has little to no control over their body in a limited gravity. That trailer shows a pretty cool idea...when the 'jets' are empty, they are almost immediately thrown from the fantastic, whimsical floating in space to a very scary swimming-against-a-raging tide that leaves them helpless.

I think its fantastic, if not frightening to think of.

Alfonso Cuaron is awesome so I'll see it. I don't have very high hopes for Bullock, though.

Side Effects - really weird movie. I think I like Steven Soderbergh (the director) less and less. First, it was the disappointing Contagion, and now this. IMO, he so much wanted to make a "shocking" movie and resolve everything by the end, that he decided to build very unbelievable twists and forced ending that defies logic.

I had a tough time making it through the whole movie. Took me like 8 tries, because I kept falling asleep, which kept making it hard to follow the story. That's more on me, though.

Spoiler:
There are a lot of elements, at least to me, from 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien, so the plot and environment is pretty cool. It's a quiet film, sound effects-wise, with some twists. Many of the tv/webz reviews call it a horror film, but it seemed more atmospheric sci-fi.

I enjoyed The Wolverine. It was far from the greatest movie in the world, and in my opinion is behind Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel as far as this summer's comic book movies, but I thought it was a good movie. I enjoy watching Hugh Jackman play the title character.

Same. Although, the movie could have stunk and the clip after a few credits would have made it for me.

Red tails. Most of the flying stuff was like crack to me but:
1. The guy who played lightning sucked
2. The character of lightning sucked
3. The bomber crews talked like robots programmed to point out the obvious
