You guys are nuts, I wonder if it's an age thing? Are the people that hate superbad/the hangover older people? Superbad has one of the best rottentomato scores.

I'm 28 and while I didn't hate Superbad, I didn't think it was anything all that great.

I really dont give a crap about a rotten tomato score.

I think the hangover was built up WAYYYY too much for me. Even if it wasnt I dont think it would rank more than "meh" for me.

Superbad was just superstupid

I am currently 31 if that helps your question. I was in my late 20s when those movies came out.

A lot of times these days, people use "funny" instead of "quotable".

I think you're the only 22 year old in the world that didn't like it.

Speaking of The Hangover, new news about the third installment:

I'm an optimist (sometimes), so I'll go ahead and buy that explanation for why the second one mirrored the first so much. What do others think?

I don't believe a word he said, but I'll probably still watch TH3.

The promo like for this movie should be "If you Liked Big Mama's house 3, Free Willy 3, and Bring it on, Again. Then you will love to watch Todd Phillips spend 2 hours literally beating a dead horse."

Directors change scripts all the time, sometimes drastically, so that's not hard to believe at all, especially since the original script was from the writers of Four Christmases and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It just comes down to whether or not the approach they took with the second one absolves it from not being that great of a movie (personally, I still think it doesn't).

I made myself watch the Green Lantern last night. I almost turned it off 3 or 4 times. Mostly due to bad acting by Ryan whatshisface and the rest of the cast, not including Blake Lively because I thought she was OK. I actually do like him, but I can't take him seriously. He has a face fit for comedies. I think he's a little crosseyed? I will never get that image out of my mind in one of his movies where he got all naked then tucked his wee-wee between his legs so you couldn't see it. I still think of him that way. But anyway. The guy who played the bad dude who's brain swelled up... horrible. The devil looking alien with red face... awful. I don't understand why they movies like this. Don't these people have any pride in their work? I'd rate it a 2 out of 5 - instead of 1 out of 5 - but only because Blake is hot and Ryan is probably a cool guy in real life.

I know, I also have a thing for Blake. I think she's one of the sexiest young actresses. I would however insist she gets rid of that little wart on her face.

What I also like about her is how she carries herself, just from watching her interviews. She seems really cool. I think she's down to earth... there was a video I saw somewhere where she was signing autographs outside and a bunch of people wanted them, and she did every single one. Then after she was done and began walking away, somebody called out and she ran back to get them a picture and an autograph. It seemed really genuine.

superbad was fine, but it was 100% recycled comedy from the writers and actors.

I made it halfway through a few nights ago and deleted it off the DVR. Kept expecting it to get better but nope.

Is Green Hornet any better?

I never heard good things about the Green Hornet.

Speaking of super hero movies, The Avengers movies kept getting increasingly better as they moved closer to this summer. Thor was definitely my favorite of the group, though it is a tough choice.

Any of the X-Men movies good? Captain America was okay. Really enjoyed Iron Man Uno and Dos.

Xmen, and X2 are good. The 3rd installment sucked, and Wolverines spinoff was awful.

X-men First class(most recent) was the best out of all of them, IMO

I liked the original trilogy as well as the most recent 2 to come out. Typical action flicks though, nothing too deep or anything like that.

What's that, another movie? Seriously, I'm out of the loop. Between my tv shows and hockey and video games and life, I don't have much time for movies. I'll have to look it up.

I wanted to watch X-Men First something... the new one... because it's running now, but every time I want to watch it, something else comes up. But I did catch a moment where Xavier was laying on the ground and a few people were around him, including the blue guy but all I could see was a fuzzy suit making him look like a blue pussycat so now I'm thinking that's gonna suck too. I'll watch it anyway. I think they're showing it again on Sunday. Maybe hockey's on, I dunno.

Green Hornet has Seth Rogan in it. So it's a comedy? Only getting 6 out of 10 on imdb.
