Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter -

The book was far better than the movie, especially the ending and I thought the movie lacked a lot about his childhood and how he got into hunting, which was part of what I enjoyed with the book. Still, it was a fun and silly movie, worth watching, but not in theaters.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 2 -

The most interesting of the ones I've seen. I only managed to fall asleep twice during this one, had a lot more people being killed, unfortunately it was only a dream/vision sequence. Very disappointing. The wife enjoyed it though

Lincoln -

One of the best movies I have ever seen in theaters. Everything about it was well-done. Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, and Tommy Jones were all amazing in it. Probably my favorite roles I have seen them in. Being the policy wonk/history dork that I am, I couldn't get enough of it. The focus on the 13th amendment vote "buying" process was pretty much on point from what i've read and loved that many of the votes were included verbatim from transcripts. I'm about 1/5 of the way through Team of Rivals and can't wait to finish it, even moreso now. If you can, go see this movie.

I actually watched the edited version of Training Day on Bravo. It was weird since they edited out some words but not others. Denzel's rant was destroyed at the end but there were other words used in his rant that weren't removed earlier in the movie.

Watched flight with denzel, not what I thought. The crash scene was one of the most intense scenes I've seen & worthy of admission alone. The movie is dark, depressing, and sad, but it's also well done. I don't even know if I can say it was entertaining

I can agree with that. The trailer was misleading -- probably intentionally so. Going off it you would've thought it would've been sort of a courtroom drama on whether or not he'd escape the charges. It turned out to be a pretty darn good character study. Personally I think it's one of the better movies of the year I've seen so far.

Lawless - awesome, tom hardy is a badass, guy pierce was really creepy, Jessica Chastain was really good looking, & Shia labouff was actually tolerable. Wish Gary Oldman was in it more. The violence was brutal when it did occur. Great prohibition flick

im watching Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 for the first time. kind of surprising since GARBAGE DAAAY is my favorite web video of all time.

sad to say, it's not very good. not even in a goofy 'so bad, it's good' kind of way. it's actually pretty boring.

I was such a huge fan of the books and even the trilogy. When I heard they were stretching the shortest book of them all into three movies it went from me wanting to see it to refusing to see it. I won't go.

When I picked up my blu ray player, pulp fiction and dogs were the first two disc I purchased. I'm very tempted to buy the Tarantino XX blu ray set. Just sucks its $90.00 even if it does include 8 movies. Ever watch 4 rooms btw?
