I have gone to the last two big releases (IM3 and ST:ID) on their first day at the first morning showings in Homestead at Lowe's and both maybe had about 20-30 people in them tops.

Sweet! so I definitly have a good plan then.

Before noon supersaver at Lowes is great, I really have come to love watching a good movie in the morning then heading over to Mitchells for a nice outdoor lunch and beer to discuss the flick

Also not sure why, but I've found I'm definitely more focused and emotionally involved in the morning rather than later in the evening

Just caught "Moonrise Kingdom" on HBO again. If it was possible to give a big hug to a film, that's what I'd do. I just adore that movie.

The wife and I go to early morning showings on Saturdays. We find it much more enjoyable. Less money too. We've gone to Iron Man 3, and Fast and Furious 6 the past two weeks, and both times the theaters didn't have more than 25 people in them. It was nice.

So I accidentally (no...seriously) turned on the Liberace movie last night. There's an image that will never leave my head. I want to wash my eyes with bleach.

Fast and Furious 6 made $90,000,000+ this weekend?!?!?

Seriously?

R.E.M. was right.

Fast and Furious 6 is a good mindless action summer action flick. It also has a fairly big following. I have no shame in enjoying those movies.

How can anyone hate the Fast series. It's the best action series of my generation.

All told Drift and Fast and Furious were the low points. Fast Five was a huge rebound though.

World War Z is going to be awful. It's like they just pretended the book(which was really really really good) didn't even exist. Call it something else, because World War Z it is not. I hope it bombs.

It makes me actually angry that they're calling that upcoming crap World War Z. The book was ridiculous good and now it's some fast zombie, CGI, garbage fest. The whole thing in the book that built tension was that the zombies were slow but just never stopped, and had numbers so huge that it was terrifying. The battle of Yonkers alone displayed why the zombies were so scary. But now we get this garbage.

So if one hasn't read the book couldn't the movie actually be good?

For Fast and Furious fans:
I have never seen any of the films. I love action flicks so I am willing to give the series a try. Should I watch all 6 or are there some I can skip without losing ANY of the story. Keep in mind that even if a movie is bad, if it contributes at all to an ongoing story line I am willing to sit through it.

The series is worth watching. Drift is difficult because it has none of the original stars and in Fast lore apparently takes place after all the other ones. Fast and Furious is only really needed for a major plot point of someone dying which ties into 6... I need to go see 6.
