This is the second time today you have used "me" instead of "my". Are you a pirate?

Glad this is in a relevant thread. My friends and I are of the consensus that the worst movie character ever created in any movie is Steve the Pirate from Dodgeball.

I'll go with Mrs Torrance from The Shining. Kubrick destroyed one of the best characters King ever created...

Kate Capshaw in Temple of Doom is hands-down the worst movie character that ever was, is now, and ever will be.

Kate Capshaw and Mrs. Torrance are both two outstanding choices. I absolutely hate Shelley Duvall's face, it just screams stupid to me.

Face aside, at least her character - and the way it was acted - served a foil role for Nicholson. Capshaw was boobs-on-a-bull useless, a jack-in-the box of brain-curdling screams, to the point of warping the spacetime continuum.

My least favorite of the original 3. I find Shortround and Spielberg's wife so distractingly annoying that I hope both are killed.

Grail was my favorite. Sean Connery and the guy from Sliders are great in it. And the Nazis are so evil they make the best enemies.

The margin of greatness is so slim between the 3 of them, I have a tough time deciding but temple always did it for me when I was little

Haha, your Temple of Doom choice. Admittedly, that was my favorite of the three as a lad.

And agreed, reading the reviews of RIPD are golden.

Sounds like this is man of steel 2 with batman in his world. not based on dark knight returns, but it will help tell the story?

right, but does it take place after TDKR when he is "dead", or between TDK and TDKR when he was considered a murderer and in hiding? neither makes much sense. Unless they are completely just scrapping the nolan stuff and starting over with him. If i was WB/DC, i would have never let nolan end TDKR the way it did.

I don't think any details about where they are going are known. Only thing I've read from MoS was that Nolans Batman is his own thing. If they aren't bringing Bale back, then they should just keep it separate. No need to reboot the origin story with a new batman, just dive right in with a new bats which will lead to the new batman movie....

They can wait on Justice League, they have Batman and Superman, no need to rush into things.

I’m so excited to begin working again with Henry Cavill in the world we created, and I can’t wait to expand the DC Universe in this next chapter," Snyder said in a statement. "Let’s face it, it’s beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest Super Heroes in the world."

The film will be scripted by Man of Steel's David Goyer along with Snyder. Man of Steel producer and Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan will executive produce along with Emma Thomas, Benjamin Melniker and Michael E. Uslan.

The tentpole is planned for release in 2015.

Why? That's a super easy fix.

"Okay."

Love how they introduced the news, brought up harry Lennix (general from mos) :

"I want you to remember, Clark," Lennix said, "in all the years to come. In all your private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you."
