"Rush" was good. Worth checking out. Hemsworth played his part well, I really like what Daniel Brühl did in it as Niki Lauda.

Hell. Interesting premise. Pretty good job maintaining the atmosphere. Could have done a bit more with the story.

Watched the first hour of hangover 3. I thought it was funny; I laughed multiple times. Better than the 2nd one.

Its one of those "Do I hate this movie or do I just not care that I watched it" types. It was well made. I felt thirsty while watching it so that speaks to the atmosphere as you said. The Descent is probably the scariest movie I have ever seen because of how claustrophobic I get while watching it. Hell isn't to thirst as The Descent is to tight spaces but it's in the same vein.

Star Trek Into Darkness was a pretty darn good action flick. The guy playing the villain stole the show in my opinion, great delivery of all his lines.

I think they stand alone as just good action flicks. I think thats why I liked them so much. I don't care much for Star Trek at all, but I enjoyed those movies just as straight up sci-fi/action flicks. They were entertaining.

He's rumored to be Abrams' choice as the main villain for the new Star Wars movies.

Same with us. It was on dvr for about 6 weeks. I had no idea about Canada's involvement. We seriously owe them big time. They risked a lot and became an enemy to Iran for us.

The new South Park rips on it -- it's a pretty ridiculous episode.

You're Next was pretty good. Some terrible acting for the most part but it was very entertaining. It's basically a violent version of The Strangers. Lots of action. Would recommend to horror/slasher fans.

The Conjuring was really good. I always like the less gory and more suspenseful kind of horror. Some nice jump scares and good acting. It was "based on true events" and it was very believable. James Wan is becoming one of my favorite directors. Lots of hat tipping to old horror films like Poltergeist and The Exorcist. Definitely worth the watch.

Your description definitely increases my interest in The Conjuring. The girlfriend does not like being scared and therefore won't watch it unless its daytime. This works out nicely for me because my bluff doesn't get called when I act like i'm fine watching something scary at night. :pop:
