Without finding the plot overly stupid? Doubtful.

How do you watch on that - to you rent/buy from iTunes?

Another major plus of bluray is tha audio - its so much higher quality than DVD and you have more channels.

Usually. Or just use HBO go app or Netflix or Hulu. Quality is a little lacking but convenience wins.

You mean the plot dealing with giant robots, monsters, and a different alien world? Not really sure what you were hoping for?

Always amuses to see what people think of that. Actually what amuses me is the reaction to what someone thinks of it.

Big Lebowski is a pretty fantastic movie. But if you're not on the same wavelength as it is, then I could see why someone really wouldn't enjoy it a lot.

The Coen Brothers are 25% genius and 75% overrated, pretentious ****.

There, I said it.

I know this movie is a cult favorite, but it was nowhere near as good as O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Goodman's character was probably my favorite, but even he was working my last nerve by the end.

I'm sure I'm stupid because I don't "get it" but it certainly doesn't deserve the praise that is heaped upon it.

Just ok is correct.

I would agree with that. It's in a category like Donnie Darko IMO. When you're in high school or your early 20's it seems awesome. Any older and it's like yeah I get it but not to that extreme. It's good for what it is.

Eh. Apples to Oranges, IMO. Coen Brothers actually have a pretty good track record, unlike Richard Kelly.
