I guess we only agree on 99% of things.

If you feel the same about Mr Tarantino, we might have to fight.

Nope. Love Quentin.

Saw "Blue is the Warmest Color." Pretty good. I think the best compliment I can give it is the narrative and pacing were absolutely top-notch. Didn't feel like a 3 hour movie at all, and I wouldn't have minded if it ran even longer.

Haven't seen Goats, but no thanks on the rest.

No Country was well acted but the story was meh.

LadyKillers was downright painful.

Follow that Bird: Still awesome after all these years.

This Means War: It feels like Tom Hardy, Chris Pine, and Reese Witherspoon owed someone a favor for this, but for not hearing or seeing anything about is, it was actually really fun. It's a standard romantic comedy action flick, but I found myself really enjoying it. For whatever reason, it felt like a giant episode of Chuck, and for me that is a good thing.

left off some of their best, Miller's Crossing, the man who wasn't there and Hudsucker Proxy. I didn't really care for Burn after reading or a serious man, but everything else is good in my book. Miller's Crossing is probably my favorite.

More "Batman vs. Superman" rumors:

Hollywood producer Daniel Alter revealed that Batman will be semi-retired, reiterated that he hasn’t been speaking with Dick Grayson, and most interestingly, said that Batman will be controlling drones from the Batcave

Ugh. I understand why they are going this route with Batman (inspiration from TDKR, Tower of Babel, Kingdom Come), but the semi-retired Batman still isn't doing it for me. Why can't Batman be in his prime? Why can't this be the launching point for a long run of Batman/Superman/World's Finest movies? You just started a new Superman franchise and you're throwing an aging Batman into the mix. It just doesn't make sense to me for the story or the franchise.

I've read a little bit about it...is the love scene really that noteworthy? I'm more just curious, I don't really care to see it and I don't think it's one the gf wants to see considering it's most talked about scene is a graphic lesbian sex scene.

Hudsucker Proxy is in my Coen top 3 behind o brother and in front of lady killers.

Speaking of MOS. I picked up the 3D/BRD/DVD combo pack. The making of was the entire movie that went to split screens with the actors and directors explaining how things were done. They even went to a third screen with the angles on how the effects were done. i thought that was pretty cool and different.

It just sounds like a rushed mess to me at this point.

In other comic book movie news, I didn't really like Thor 2 all that much. Certainly didn't think it was good as the first and would put it near the bottom of the Marvel movies. Too much exposition in the first half. Villains weren't fleshed out at all. I almost feel the need to characterize the movie as boring. Was nice to see Zachary Levi as Fandral (big Chuck fan). The mid-credits scene as the lead in to Guardians of the Galaxy was interesting. The story is such a departure from other comic book movies, so I won't be surprised next year when the reviews and box office for the movie aren't that hot.

The Coen Brothers are 25% genius and 75% overrated, pretentious ****.

There, I said it.

I know this movie is a cult favorite, but it was nowhere near as good as O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Goodman's character was probably my favorite, but even he was working my last nerve by the end.

I'm sure I'm stupid because I don't "get it" but it certainly doesn't deserve the praise that is heaped upon it.

Just ok is correct.
