A lot of his early roles were stereotypical jock type stuff. His promo pictures were all of him shirtless. But he wasn't happy with anything. His family is all into the theater and arts and stuff, and I got the impression reading the article that he feels like staring in Marvel movies is a big let down, that he'd rather be doing films like Dallas Buyers Club or something. He somewhat angrily lamented in the article that all the indie drama films he has been in have flopped and he's known for playing two spandex clad superheroes.

He's claimed that after Avengers 3 he's retiring from acting. And I don't know how much he likes or hates the fitness regimen, but Chris Hemsworth hates it to the point he doesn't want to play Thor anymore either.

London is one of my favorite "unknown" movies. I need to watch that again actually.

It is................................................................................. interesting.

Put it this way: I was super surprised that the the director of this film was chosen to direct a Harry Potter movie. (which, perhaps not coincidentally, is my favorite of the five HP films I've seen)

I think I have an idea of what I'm getting into from reading a bit about it. Wife and I were looking for a movie tonight and I see it's streaming on netflix. This has been on my radar for a while, so I think we are going to give it a shot, I just don't want to get into anything that is too serious and depressing.

Defiance was really good. I never heard of the story before. The fact that the 1200 lives saved have produced 10,000+ offspring is amazing and inspirational.

Yes, interesting. We made it through 30 minutes [4 male Mexican dong scenes]. The kids kept coming out of bed and down the stairs and the movie wasn't exactly pause friendly to this point. It's been 13 years since it came out, we decided to hold off for another night or year.

honestly, with this movie, I'm not sure what to expect. Right out of the gate, it started with the girls and then over the next 25 minutes featured a lot of "chimichangas". I'm pretty sure it's artistic Mexican porn.

In late 2012, G4's studio programming was ceased in preparation for its re-launch as the Esquire Network on September 23, 2013, as part of a licensing deal with Hearst Corporation, owner of Esquire magazine. However, on September 9, 2013, news broke that NBCUniversal will instead replace Style with Esquire Network, leaving G4 "as is for the foreseeable future, though it's highly unlikely the company will invest in more original programming".

I think our mutual confusion shows how much value we put into the money we pay monthly for both G4 and Style.

Hmph, well, there ya go...I really never watched either channel...there was one show on G4 with some annoying coke addict and a pretty attractive girl and they were talking about video games or some noise...don't recall what it was called though...I had seen it a few times...but nothing besides that, and I have no style...

glad you liked it. I thought it was the best blockbuster ive seen in years.

which makes the fantastic four movie (written and produced by the same people) seem even more strange. there hasn't been one bit of positive news from that film and principal photography is done!

marvel is more upfront about their potential disaster in the making (antman) than fox is. and after two generally disliked fantastic four movies they need some positive spin.

Guardians of the Galaxy is playing at the drive in this weekend, I know a lot of you saw it. Is it OK for a 7 year old? For reference, they enjoyed Man of Steel.

I think Man of Steel is ridiculously more violent with scarier imagery. There scariest/saddest scene in my opinion was similar to the death star attack. Pilots being shot down and stuff.

They'll love Rocket and Groot. Definitely download I Want You Back by the Jackson 5 - they'll be dancing the car ride home.
