Kelly's Bar is down the street from me. I like the food.

Supposed to have killer martinis. I'm not a martini drinker, so I can't vouch for that.

really? never been in there. we must be neighbors - Im right on Baum.

I tried your swamp rub wings the other day. I really liked it. the sauce was kind of similar to The Library's hottest sauce. It was hard to put a finger on exactly what the flavor was.

Though I was bummed they were fried - I figured fuel and fuddle would stick them in their brick oven.

Kelly's is good for weekend happy hours. I think the food can be a little too variable, I've gotten buffalo bites that we're gross before. Although the Mac and cheese is always good

The wife talked me into dinner and drinks with her work friends. A.) they were eating at buca, which is trough esque to me, but I do like their tiramisu because its rum heavy, so I obliged. B.) after eating the caprese app by myself because I'm a tomato/mozz freak, i had some red noodle water and stopped after a couple of bites. Blech. C.) they were out of tiramisu. [expletive deleted]

Went to Carson city after that and had some free drinks so it didn't end poorly

Buca is a dump. I don't know how they stay in business.

Went to Capital Grille on Friday (first time at the Pittsburgh one). Food and service were excellent. We ordered truffle fries and the kitchen forgot to send them out (which was fine because we were already pretty full from soup / salad / bread by the time our meals came out, and we had other sides coming). Waiter was nice enough to bring us a sample of them free of charge. Also, we had a table of 12 next to us and every single one of them was completely hammered. Without us even saying anything, the waiter offered to move us to a quieter part of the restaurant. We didn't take him up on it since they really didn't bother us, but I thought that it was a really nice gesture by him, and I give him kudos for recognizing that these people didn't belong in a nice restaurant. I still prefer the filet at Ruth's over any other steak.

Probably not the food court at Century III.

If you really want to get your yinzer on, there's a Primanti's on 51.

If LITT wants to try something different (no clue if its good), try wentzels oyster house. Its close to the k-mart on 51. This gentleman has no idea if its good or not, but supposedly they try to do southern inspired seafood and whatnot. It probably isnt good but if you are looking to take a walk on the wild side, go for it.

Also, there is a chic fil a and chipotele down there so theres that.

There's this place too. The outside looks like a wax museum or some dilapidated boardwalk building that was wheeled down into the century three area.

Elliott's BBQ is down that way too. It always got rave reviews from friends but I've never been there.

I would like for someone to explain to me what the baltimore house is like. Another thing it looks like is a haunted amusement park ride.
