AVENUE B SO GOOD. it's the old chef from red room before it sucked ass/closed. I don't remember tvs. Portions are kinda small btw

I'll take that as the food is good, portions are smaller than most places, and there are no tv's.

Avenue B is the best restaurant in the city right now IMO. I thought the portions were reasonable personally. And its BYO.

Avenue B is the best restaurant in the city right now IMO. I thought the portions were reasonable personally. And its BYO.

Avenue B was very good, i'm not sure where LITT got the small portions thing, maybe you got chinced on a dish because i was just barely able to clear my plate.

Il Pizzaiolo - Mt. Lebanon Very good Italian food. Dish on the South Side has very good Italian food as well.

Have you eaten at the frick cafe? just wondering what you'd think about their portions.

I am ashamed to say I have never been to Frick cafe. My exposure to things east of shadyside is minimal

They are opening up a Texas Roadhouse in the Great Southern Shopping Center in Bridgeville.

Its no Ruth's or Morton's, but I think it is def. better than Lonestar or Outback.

for what it is--a decently-priced corporately ran steakhouse, it serves the purpose (the rolls they give you are solid). when comparing to the others in the same market, longhorn may be the best, but texas roadhouse isnt too shabby of a corpo-joint.

agreed. as far the corporate-run steakhouses, I would rank them as such (not including Morton's, Ruth's, Capital Grille, etc as even though they are corporate, they are a little too nice to be ranked in the same group with the regular steakhouses)...

Highly recommended for any special occasion. Upscale restaurant in a bookstore. It's pretty cool. They have great seafood dishes.

ive lusted over their menu and the tapas and small plates didnt seem unreasonable
