Yeah, if you want to fight through an hour of traffic to go 10 miles then head on over to Mt Lebo or somewhere and get some food.

If you are willing to drive 15 minutes go to jims hot dogs in west mifflin/duquesne

That place is no effing joke and its awesome if you like hot dogs and are willing to get sauce all over your suit

If you want ice cream for lunch go to sugar and spice.

Rowdy BBQ is a bit of a drive from jefferson but good

Yeah, it's pretty much all chains in that area. There is an Atria's pretty close in Bill Green's shopping Center. Like someone else said, I've heard Elliot's is very good. We had the wake for my grandma's funeral at Ciccante's on 51 and that wasnt bad.

There are a few hidden gems in West Mifflin (Mr Hoagie's and Jim's Hot Dogs), but they are on the other side of the borough (i.e 10+ minute drive from where you are going to be).

Yes. I grew up there and always said south hills. Now that I live in the South Hills, it's definitely the Mon Valley lol.

We've discussed this before. That area of town is not the South Hills.

Two brothers BBQ in Presto is legit. I really like their pulled pork and brisket.

Has anyone ever been to the Blue Flame? It looks kind of seedy in a 70's way.

I went there once probably 20 years ago for breakfast and remember it being pretty good. Though I guess it wasnt that good since I never returned since.

Speaking of breakfast, my 2 favorite spots in the South Hills are The Beach House (on 88 right by Mineral Beach) and Jim & LouLou's on South Park Road. Both are delicious.
