Restaurant Recommendations?

The Asian Bistro in Hampton (two locations: Root 8 and Raht 8) is pretty good. No hibachi at tables, but the food was good and reasonably priced. Pad Thai could've used some more seasoning, though. Sushi was well done.

Anyone know whats the deallyo with Wild Rosemary in the cut on McLaughlin Run Road in Upper St Clair? Odd place for a bistro --but every time I'm passing it I see BMWs, Benzes, saw a Bentley in the lot. Who owns this place? Given the clientele's cars I could never afford it but has anyone been there?

I got the poutine and chilli cheese dog. The dog was great, the poutine was very underwhelming.

Went to BD's last weekend for lunch and left very satisfied.

It's a create your own stir-fry place that has about a dozen meats and 20 sauces to choose from. When I went on Sunday I had a coupon so I was able to get my lunch, drink, and tip for under $8. That $8 also included the $2.99 doggy bag, which is something they just started doing. A little extra money so I don't have to cook for the rest of the day? Yeah, I'll take it.

Without the coupon, I'd say you can get a drink and your meal for around $11 for lunch and $13 for dinner, which starts at 4.

Poutine IS very underwhelming. I had it in Montreal a few years ago. Meh...

the gravy makes poutine. if you get bland, soupy gravy, it just sucks.

My HS cafeteria had gravy fries a lot and I got them just about every time....the cheese curd thing kind of freaks me out.
But I would probably try it.

Was in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago and after Kennywood stopped into Rock Bottom at The Waterfront. Had never heard of it and didn't know it was a chain. We really enjoyed our meal there. Good variety of beers brewed on location with some seasonal options. I had the chicken fried chicken with white cheddar mashed potatoes and LOVED IT. Looking for a reason to drive to King of Prussia now since it's the nearest Rock Bottom to me to see if it's the as good as I remember.

kenny the kangaroo used to frequent the pita pit in philly back in teh day. always thought they had tasty veggies. it was a strange place t hough, it seemed as if the employees and the customers preferred an alternative lifestyle......not that theres anything wrong with that.

Large Plain is a key find for me. North Hills pizza and seasoned wings option. Cheap, very good, one mile from my house.

This thread is making me fondly remember my trip to Sharp Edge last time we went to a Pens game. Love that place. They have the best boneless chicken bites/wings I've ever had.

Sharp Edge food is not close to worth the price. The service there (downtown) has gone downhill big time too. The chicken bites are typically very good happy hour fare, though. Don't get the honey garlic, though.
