it's not local, or at least it isn't for me

others:
- viva viagra, enzyte, smiling bob, and all of the other male enhancement commercials.
- Progressive Flo. Didn't bother me at first, but now I can't stand her.
- GEICO, caveman and lizard/gecko/whatev.
- almost any Sportscenter commercial featuring an anchor. shut your mouth and get back behind your desk.

The first thing that came to mind when I read the thread title was GEICO. But just about any car insurance or cell phone commercial is stupid. Especially verizon.

Props to whoever mentioned the mac vs. pc, those are probably the worst by far, but luckily I don't see them as often as the insurance or cell phone ones.

Oh how could I forget!!! The uppity Toyota Prius commercials with all of the stupid flowers/trees dancing joyously because the smug jerkoff behind the wheel gets an additional 10 miles a gallon.

I have to defend this. While the ad may be annoying, I (apparently a smug jerkoff ) get way more then 10 more miles per gallon. It's more like 25. I'm averaging 50mpg now.

I'm indifferent to the Geico gecko commercials, but I have to admit I like the one where a "temp" had to fill in for the gecko. It's pretty funny.
