I was going to let it go, but I saw it one too many times...that Pepsi (I think?) commercial where the woman with the accent gets caught up in a toast at a wedding reception and talks about some can of crappy soda...unless there's an inside joke/reference that I'm missing, this is one of the worst commercials from a big name company in recent memory...it might be the worst mainstream commercial on TV right now.

A group of people sat around and talked about this and said, "yeah, this is good...let's go with this..." No way. Impossible. It's a dog **** sandwich on rye...

when people say "how are you doing?" and i'll say "i'm good. how are you?" and they'll say, "i'm well." i'm always forced to then sneak in "i'm also well."

i know it's "well" but i think i'd alienate most people that come through the door but maybe if i'd start by saying i'm well i'd help teach people the proper wording. but then it bothers me that i'm even thinking about it.

my pet peeve here is that i think about this

The Honda Civic (?) commercial with the "oh-so-smart" girl and boy at the gas station.

"My mom got it at the Spring Savings event. I know these things."

The radio commercial for 7Up 10. It involves someone rapping Figaro, a minister saying "Hut Hut Carla", and other annoying soundbites. To make matters worst is that it is being played constantly on the Penguins HD Radio station.

Agreed. Just when I didn't think it was possible for something worse than the Johnny Hockeyfan spot that was already being played there ad nauseum, along came this one.

The series of State Farm radio spots featuring the guy who calls customer service rep Kristin at 3:00am and tells her, "Wow, it's like 3am...you really ARE there for me all the time," or whatever. There are like four different ones, but the one with the guy who talks in the near-monotone the whole time comes off creepier than hell.

Theres a local used car place that now has a Forest Gump parody on the radio. Seriously, 19 years after the movie came out?

I would love to see the room full of chimps that decided the rapping fi-fi-fi-ga-ro should involve an awful stereotype of a rapper from 30 years ago.

Why is there a monitor in the computer graveyard that is still powered on? Is it a zombie monitor?
