I just looked it up, and if it's the same thing you found out, I would have never thought that either.

I made sure to check several sources to make sure it wasn't a joke. If you want to maintain an innocent view of witches riding brooms, don't look it up.

Very interesting indeed.

Just so we're on the same page:

Spoiler:
Something to do with hallucinogenic properties of broom-making materials?

Ughhhh. No? OK. 3 words: oyntment, staffe, gallop. We can throw in the hallucinogenic properties as an extra.

Man, PF, what a topic you brought up...

Hey. Maybe that's why these witches thought they were doing magic. Seeing all those pretty colors.

Christmas lights are officially hung....will be getting tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I want to maximize my holiday warmth/cheer timeframe this year, especially since we didn't get a tree last year because we left for Europe the day after Christmas.

Yeah, I'm rethinking it. OK, when it's time let's make a poll on a real tree vs a fake one. I love the smell of the real one and I prefer it, but my parents use a fake one and it doesn't get the needles all over their damn house like the real one.

Oh so you had a nice little European Holiday did you? I hope your entire Christmas season from Thanksgiving to Christmas day was not ruined because of the inconvenience of leaving a day after Christmas? Should have given me a heads up, I would've come and taken your tree down for you.

My fiancee picked up a prelit christmas tree last january for $8. Can't wait to put it up in 10 minutes instead of 4 hours.

lololol wasn't even trying to humblebrag, I posted some pictures from the vaca for crying out loud. I definitely don't think it's too early. Hell, the "Christmas Season" starts in nine days, and I'll be out of town both weekends.

Definitely getting a real tree as well....I'll deal with sweeping up some pine needles, can't replicate that awesome smell when you walk into the house.

waaaahhh I love the outdoors so much, but I hate cleaning up needles for 20 minutes once a year. Of all people, I figured you would save the needles over the years and make a bed out of them or something.

Nothing like a guy whose been on vacation for 2 weeks to come in and express, 2 days before the go live, he won't be able to get all the job changes done in time for the go live. And wants it postponed.

Maybe if he wouldn't have gone on vacation for 2 weeks prior to the freaking install this wouldn't have happened.

I need a new job. Anymore, I seriously hate working where I do.

Yeah, really. Well, not me, I get a real one. That's a recent development with my mom, too. I think she's getting lazy. I'll have to work on her.

Some of those fake ones do look awesome, I will say. The more expensive ones. Put some angel hair and bulbs on it. Spray it so it smells nice, lol.

We got one at Lowe's last year for like $200. No spending a weekend day this year out cutting one down, hauling it, disposing of it.....

Beautiful, realistic, artificial X-Mas trees. Pretty expensive. I'm looking at one for a thousand bucks. Looks great in photo.

When we moved in we started the tradition to have a real tree in the house. Always had fake ones growing up so I'm loving it.
