I'm circling in a holding pattern over a mountain of crap I have to do and I just can't seem to stow my laptop and put myself in an upright position.

Instead, I'm enjoying gocomics.com. http://www.gocomics.com/

I think it depends on how old the old microwave is. At least that's what I remember the GE guy telling me when he installed an above-range nuker for me 5 years ago.

Justin Bieber was here last night I guess.

The kid is popular, but honestly, I don't know one song he sings or performs. Does anyone else?

I have a 12-year old daughter, so yes, I know more than I would like.

And, you've probably heard at least one of his songs on some commercials.

I would guess that Baby, Baby is his biggest hit followed by Boyfriend.

I got 6 years out of mine and have put it off for 3 months in getting a new one. At this point, I don't even miss a microwave. I'm dreading having to drill through the tile to hand the mounting bracket again if it doesn't fit the old one. Could be a lot of swearing going on for Thanksgiving.

The ol' amana radarange. this thing predates me. Parents bought it in like '82. The repair man laughs every time he has to come fix it and slaps mom with a $50 repair bill. She refuses to go buy a new one.

If we're continuing to talk about Bieber, LOL - we're grown men, most of us, but anyway - I came across this video some time ago. It kinda changed my mind on thinking he's just some brat. Look at how cool he is here and what he's doing for a girl who's obviously a huge fan. I think this is really awesome and I kinda started to warm up to him at that point.

Kenny the kangaroo's grandma had a ~35 year old microwave that lasted up until a few years ago. grandaddy baught it for her, and she got really mad at him because it was expensive, so she decided to keep it for as long as possible because he spent a lot on it.

kenny the kangaroo has a toaster oven that is approximately 7 years old that is absolutley clutch and disgusting. in 7 years of owenership, the bottom of the oven has never been cleaned, and never will be cleaned.

Here's an example of how out of touch I am with popular culture: My wife and I saw a piece of a "Best Songs of the 2000s" show on VH1 or some channel like that. We didn't watch it, but looked up the list online. I had heard of exactly one song: "Beautiful Day" by U2. And I have never heard more than a minute or so of that song. Mostly I think I heard it at the supermarket.

He finally tells me and he's a neighbor from when I was like 4-5. He then asks if I remember my father. I'll preface this that my mom and dad split when I was really young. Too young to remember and she began dating my step dad when I was 5, they married when I was 16 so I've pretty much always considered my step-father my actual dad since he's been in my life since pretty much my earliest memories. I don't know much about my biological father and never really tried to know much, mainly because my step dad was such a great guy and pretty much gave me a better life than I could have imagined.

Anyway, apparently he was good friends with my dad, who I find out was originally from NY and moved here (WV) to start a business with his friends and thats when he ended up marrying my mother. Well he says "You don't know what your dad did, do ya?" I tell him no. Apparently, my biological father was a chaffeur and body guard for Jimi Hendrix.

I know...thats what I said :P

This guy told me more in the 10 minutes I've talked to him about my dad than I've ever known. He kept saying how I need to reach out to him cuz thats where you come from and all that....and like i said, i've never really bothered or cared to, but he kinda got me thinking..
