That seems like a good way for her to meet the wrong kind of person.

I'm not so sure. Sure the girls shown the tendency to be a tramp, but at least her parents are involved and taking action.

The girl sure looks embarrassed to me.

One thing for certain, they better get that girl on birth control immediately. I don't care if they tell her they're vitiamins or whatever, but if you have a daughter who's already shown that irresponsible behavior, the least you can do is make sure an innocent baby isn't relying on her for food, clothing and shelter.

Its not too much a stretch of imagination... thats what kids do now a days... especially when they know a kid's own family ostracises them

Good point. The long term repercussions of the public shaming among the peer group are probably deeper than the parents realize. Yet isn't it exactly that sentiment that the parents are trying to get across to her? Why does the girl care less that her parents feel that way about what she's doing but she'd be totally humiliated if her per-group expressed those sentiments? <=~ rhetorical question.

How do you deal with a child exhibiting that behavior?

I just let the flood gates open this weekend since it was Thanksgiving. In a 4 day span I had chinese food for dinner, Thanksgiving, then leftovers, Dicarlos pizza twice, Sheetz, and got Wendy's for lunch today. Not to mention the drinking on top of it. I'm a little ashamed, but almost proud
