since years of being picky and special ordering food in restaurants has made me oddly specific and slightly awkward, I would ask for a gin and tonic, but with club soda instead of tonic.

I also order cheese burgers with no cheese, because when I ask for a hamburger, they assume I mean cheeseburger and put cheese on it. Same basic principle with the club soda.

tonic has too much sugar and artificial crud in it. club soda with a lime wedge is all i need, if it's a good gin.

I had the "Super Lewis" wings from Dino's last night in Greensburg. Pretty stanking hot. downed all 5 of them with some ranch, but paid for it today.

I told FreeCandy I liked him so I wouldn't say he's an Ovy, at the very least he was being an Avery for not tipping. No there isnt much of a difference, but I imagine in the world of insults, Avery would be < an Ovechkin

On the ice, I agree. Off of the Ice, I'd say Avery > Ovey, if ">" means a bigger DBag. (But that's just this one mans personal opinion)

Just looked at the Super Lewis on Dino's menu. A "hotter combination of garlic and hot"...

Ok, what makes them hot? Mac, could you tell what else beside garlic was on them?

Speaking of Avery, I was listening to the Scott Ferrall show a couple years back and some guy called in and was going off about how he hated Avatar because the lead actor reminded him of Sean Avery. Guy said he walked out of the theater because he couldnt sit there and look at that dudes face anymore because he looked like Avery so much.

The hottest wings I've ever had (By a LONGSHOT) were at a place in South Eastern mass (Norton, MA) called Wendell's

http://www.wendellspub.net/

If you can finish a plate of these, I'll buy them for you.

They were a deep red color, and had a thick sauce on them. I'm thinking it was some Cayenne pepper and probably a little bit of Habanero in the sauce as well. I did 5, and they burned even after an entire beer. I will say this though, they say "wont get any hotter than this and still have flavor" and they were right - you could still taste the hotness and the chicken wing. They were pretty delightful but 5 was my limit.

Also, that's the description for the Lewis.. the Super Lewis are hotter

The Hottest: Super Lewis - Wow! It doesn’t get any hotter than this and still have flavor.

Are Dino's seasoned wings a hot dry rub? I sometimes want wings without the saucy mess. I like dry rub wings, but they need to be spicy.

I loved the Wing Pitt's dry rub wings. I wish that place was still in business.

They have both, but mostly saucy. Their wings are seriously deeeelish. They are thick, breaded, and if you get them triple dipped (in the fryer) they are soo crispy.

I have to make a Greensburg run and hit Dino's. I have friends who live in Latrobe that swear by Dino's wings, but I've never made it out to the Latrobe spot. Greensburg is a tad closer.

Greensburg is nicer (newer too) in my opinion. Its so wide open and a great place to watch sports - huge projector, and like 50 40" TVs everywhere. Monday and Tuesdays are wing nights, 45 cents a wing w/ beverage purchase.

while we are on the wing topic

any suggestions for good wing nights in/around the east end? i.e. not dinos. there was a link on lgp back in the day with some info, but it would be nice for a more current take.

btw dinos is good, used to be a kenny the kangaroo stomping ground back the day.
