I was 5'9" by the time I was about 13 but stopped growing at 13. Plus I only have size 9.5-10.5 feet so since my feet never grew I could keep shoes for awhile. 10 years was a nice round number to make myself sound cooler on the internet. Its probably more like 8 or 9 years.

Invest in a nice pair of dress shoes. They will look better and be close e nough in price when you consider how long they will last.

Always wanted to try that, but I'm too scared to. How was it.

actually wasn't bad at all. only talked to/saw one person. a lady that was about 30-40. she asked me if I had any cigarettes. I told her "sorry, I don't smoke." she said, "Of course you don't... what's a white boy like you doing here at 1 in the mornin?" I said, "just taking a walk ma'am." She told me to get the hell out of there before something bad happens, so I just kept walking. Didn't see another person the whole walk through.

Thats a tremendous story

Funny story: I forgot my black dress shoes last time I departed for 4 days in court in Erie, PA. I did not realize until I woke up in the hotel before the first day in court. My client was only able to provide me with basically that exact pair of shoes but with laces instead of velcro. I wore them in federal court all day. It was awful.

I would recommend Allen Edmonds shoes in general. They go up to a 3E, so not sure if that is wide enough.

Something I did not know—the word boycott comes from a person’s name: Captain Charles Boycott.
