I am trying to run a CAT5 cable up to the top floor of my house so I can hook up another router, does anyone know if you can run the cable outside the house (because that would solve a lot of swearing)

sure, why not? it's not dangerous - like electrical wiring, and cable company guys do it all the time with coax.

i guess cat5 isn't the most heavy duty wire, but i've found it do be pretty durable. maybe look for a spool of it with a heavier gauge. if it gets severed outside, it's possible to patch it. or maybe they sell wire covers for outdoor setups.

Get yourself a piece of conduit (You can even use a thin PVC tube/pipe) to protect the wiring from the elements. Most of the Plenum rated coating is fairly durable, but a conduit will extend the life. (Run a pull string through wih the cable, it'll make running additonal cables easier in the future.)

Yes the SASE is the "no purchase necessary" for the promotion. I did it in the past, I got no spam from BWW and $20 of free BWW gift cards.

My fiancee took the truck to the dealership to get the oil changed. First thing the guy did when he got in the truck, squirt the windshield wipers and inform her they're "streaky" and should be replaced. Thankfully I told her to either flirt and get them for free, or to tell him no thanks. I think she chose the latter :pop:

no wonder they call them "stealerships"

Never, send a female un-escorted into a dealership.

It's not that females aren't capable, rather it's that they're immediately viewed as "revenue opertunities" for the dealership.
