Penn State sorority apologizes for offensive photo
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — A Penn State sorority has apologized after a photo of members wearing sombreros and holding offensive signs at a Mexican-themed party circulated on the Internet.

The photo in question is pretty offensive...
Wait a second. Are there immigrants of Mexican decent in this country? Oh there are. Ok, do many of them mow lawns (see: landscape) to make money? Oh they do. Are there some of them that smoke a certain plant at times using the money they made mowing lawns to purchase it? Oh there are? What's the outrage. It's college. Boohoo they pointed out something that's true in jest. SNL has been doing this for decades without anyone crying. This is a big who cares.
If Chappelle did a skit involving the same subject matter, there would be youtube clips posted the same night with comments about Chappelle being a comedic genius.
Non-issue IMO.
are people really equating comedic and fictional television shows to university sanctioned social groups?

Yeah, there is. I don’t much care for it, even as a gun guy. It’s the same reason I don’t like stuff featuring multiple women: I don’t know what to look at first. I can’t decide whether to look at the woman or the gun.

When I'm viewing those types of things, I always concentrate on the woman, the 'gun' doesn't do anything for me.
