saturday eve I watched 'Miracle.' First hockey I've watched since devils/flyers series of 2012.
I loved the joe greene commercial during the olympic games.

I'm really "jones'n" for a hockey game. Haven't felt much of a sense of loss (over the lockout) until tonight.

Well we got VINTAGE Penguins tonight with a Winnipeg game from earlier this year.

I hate not having Root sports right now. I'd kill for vintage hockey, even if its a new vintage.

I watched MSU-OSU on BTN one night, and it didn't take me more than 5 minutes to get pissed off because some jackwagon ran over our goalie and got a goal out of it (it was reviewed and not counted). Felt great.

Is that the one where we annihilated them? That was the one game we made it to last season. My son's first game. The game opened with something like 7 minutes without a whistle. My son was in his carrier which meant he wasn't facing the ice. He cried and wailed the whole time but we wanted to wait for a whistle before my wife got up to walk to the concourse. As soon as she got down the stairs and turned around he got quiet. As long as he could see the game he was happy. I really love that kid.

The main difference between youth and old age is that when you're young, you think that old people are dumb. When you're old, you know that young people are.

Went to a Charlotte Checkers vs OKC Barons game a few weeks ago. I didn't help at all. :)

Watching those guys play made me miss the Pens all the more.

He's assistant coaching OSU's team right now. Haven't gotten the vibe that he's itching to leave.

He said he was considering playing in the ECHL on Madden's show last week IIRC.

It's fricken nasty out right now... just had to take out some trash before work and there are huge flakes coming down and the wind somehow was blowing directly in my face with every step.

Yeah, it was very bad back home too, but got progressively better the closer I got to work. We had a slight dusting of a slushy snow this morning.

It was posted in the Amazing Deals thread but I'll x-post it here, $20 for $40 worth of Green Forest Churrascaria food. Looks like this is essentially half off one buffet.
