I hate UPS. My package arrived in New Stanton on Saturday morning at 2:33 AM. In time for the Saturday preload. Not on truck. OK, it'll get here today, Monday preload. Not on truck. WTF UPS deliver my package.

Was there a particular delivery speed for the package? I've found at times that packages sat like that for a day if it would have been 1 day shipping instead of two. Perhaps coincidence, but I think not.

just "2-day".. maybe they aren't delivering today? I dunno. Regardless, if that was FedEx Home Delivery it'd have been at my door Saturday.

This is actually the first NYE the wife and I have had a party to go to (4th NYE together). Looking forward to it.

We spent last NYE partying it up in an extremely crowded and loud nightclub somewhere in London. Fun thing to say I did once, but have zero interest in ever subjecting myself to that again (sans the....attractive scenery). Looking forward to a MUCH more low-key night this year (drinking at home and watching football).

Our party is low key on the scale most posters would have. It's a bunch of families going over to my friend's house. Play room upstairs for the kids to go bonkers until they pass out. All infants can go in the master bedroom to sleep. Adults downstairs drinking. By no means is it a huge rave or anything, but it's a party, especially by "wife + 2 kids" standards.
