Cyberthreats to watch out for in 2013
http://articles.marketwatch.com/2012-12-31/finance/36072056_1_mobile-malware-data-breach-smartphones

Android devices are the hottest target for cybercriminals considering that more than 70% of all smartphones are Androids, according to Kaspersky. The security firm identified more than 35,000 malicious Android programs in 2012, six times what it uncovered the year before.

- Mobile malware. More than 90% of that malware, which is malicious software used to gain access to or disrupt your system, is likely to continue to be focused on Androids with a “high probability” of the first appearance of a mass “worm,” spreading itself through text messages.

- Medical identity theft. The Ponemon Institute, a privacy research firm, says 94% of medical organizations reporting to its annual study of patient privacy and data security had seen at least one data breach in two years.

“Our push to digitize medical records and associated dataincluding identity, insurance and financial informationhas spawned system design flaws, sloppy data handling and everything in between,” says Adam Levin, chairman of Identity Theft 911, an identity-fraud management firm.

several more on the list....

Man climbs the Seaside roller coaster (the one in the ocean after SuperStorm Sandy), to raise the US flag.

http://www.cnn.com/video/?hpt=hp_t2#/video/us/2013/01/08/tsr-pkg-moos-coaster-climber.cnn

I'm not sure why the cops took him for a psychiatric exam after taking him in.

Because they're tough guys... yet they do nothing about a drug problem in that area or persuing those that did the widspread looting that took place.

Nah, this was an easy collar.
