For the record, and I never said this, sports are huge at those clubs because of betting. Not that it's legal.. :pop:

Just watched a Belfast Giants hockey game. They certainly play at a slower pace and are down right lazy at times but it was still super fun and entertaining. I even got a jersey for 50 pounds. Tons of fun.

It is twice as warm in Pittsburgh as it is in Phoenix right now :( 28 degrees at my house at the moment.

Our neighbors are snow birds from NY and just got into town last week. Oops.

How awful for you!

One of my favorite cities ever.

Check out a sunset while enjoying dinner and some drinks at the Cliff House and say hi to the Pacific for me.

The cliff house is such a tourist spot... But you're right, my friend will enjoy that. Mt Tam, cable cars, Lombard st, etc... This town has always had a special place in my heart...

I'll report back...

I'd move to San Francisco area in 2 seconds if we had the chance/circumstances were conducive.

Just moved from Charlotte, NC to Jupiter, FL 2 weeks ago for a new job. It was 81 with a calm breeze here today. went to the beach. Not bad for mid-January. I'm never going back to a cold climate.

People moving to Jupiter to get a job, awesome.

A new career in a new town sounds good to me, though. Presently listening to it, too.

I noticed it was in the upper 70s there today. I am assuming that is due to the combination of warm air/not a lot of heat from the sun?

It was cold enough to run the heat overnight and my apt is like a greenhouse....20 windows.
so the sun was just pouring in and the dashschund and I were pretty hot after a long walk.

the real issue is that none of the buildings in this town have screens...so you're always running the a/c if it is vaguely hot.

Ahhh that makes sense. Really? No screens? I would hate that.

My wife and I really, REALLY want to move to Savannah (or a similar southern coastal city) someday.
