dont those ads reflect your own browser history, or something? like today, i was looking to get some sandwiches delivered, and i saw a Jimmie John's banner for the first time on LGP.

Is there a way to make a non wireless printer wireless? Other than hooking it up to a computer and sharing that way..

I lost my wireless connection in my house. On my laptop it shows my wireless is Boeing I'm connected but then says I have no Internet access. My DNS server is unavailable. This happened before and if I remember it was a pain in the ass to fix. Anyone know? I wouldn't care but my work imputed can't get connected either and I don't feel like driving to Pittsburgh tmw

Just tried out NCAA Football 2004 and NHL 2006 on my PS2. It's been a while. Should I spring for a PS3, or wait until the next generation when prices will drop significantly?

If you're going to wait for that, you'll be waiting a long time. They're not out yet and who knows when prices drop.

Has anyone ever used etsy? Is it like ebay? My fiancee wants to order our wedding favors from someone on there but I'm skeptical.

This is correct, the banner ads at the top of the page usually reflect your previous browser history. Whether it's dating sites, food deliveries, etc.

ive purchased stuff from etsy. sometimes the quality doesnt meet the photos taken, but it hasnt been to a detriment. its more of an artist's corner to sell individual's goods. if you are buying in bulk, it may be worthwhile to email the seller and ask for a discounted price since you would be buying multiple units.

So, moral of the story is, probably not a good idea to publicly ask why potentially embarrassing ads show up on your browser

We are going to buy customized koozies to include in our "bundle of wedding favors you probably wont ever use again" thingie. Most of the commercial places are like $1.50 a koozie, theres a chick on there that has great feedback and awesome design and she can get me 250 of them for $188. I was debating on asking for 1 koozie to check out then going from there. I messaged her so we'll see what happens.

This seems like a non issue: pony up 20 or 40 bucks and get a green screen name, block all ads on LGP with no guilt involved and keep rolling.

Someone got us beer koozies to put on the tables at our wedding. They said "To have and to hold, and to keep your beer cold", and had the names/wedding date on there too. Very cool.

That's exactly what we're going for. We were going to get half with that saying and the other half with "eat, drink, and be married"... however she wants the thick rigid foam ones. I said just the collapsible neoprene ones would work. she says they're cheap....

Neoprene ones for the win. Collapsible means they are easier to store and they are also more durable than the rigid foam ones. FWIW, I would definitely order the neoprene ones if we were doing favors.

I got her talked into it. and at less than a buck a piece I'm happy. We're also doing a photobooth, so thats part of the favor package. Finally, we're going to have some mad-libs style cards to fill in and have fun with.

Everytime I look at the news, some old person gets hit by a car and dies.

Why do old people continually get hit by cars? Are they too old to realize the cars are coming? Do the drivers not like old people?
