learning the first disadvantage of owning an Audi: either paying $550 for brake work from the dealer or trying to find a place that keeps pads in stock.

Didn't see it live, but heard something like "I'm 22 and already winning at life way more than you" or something to that effect.

I have no problem with Bayless, though I sense that plenty others do. That confrontation roold.

Friday Night Video Fights.

First off, get the branding right. It's people like you who dilute the effect.

Second, I haven't stayed awake long enough to drink enough to feel like creating a new one.

That said...

Could be a good sign tonight.

I go through similar debacles with my Acura. I made sure to make friends with a guy at work who's father-in-law owns a garage. He's saved me hundreds, if not thousands.

I found a few places since the original post where I can get pads anywhere between $60-80 that have the warning sensors included, but they won't be available until Monday. Being that the car just turned 30k, I -shouldn't- need rotors yet. I did think about throwing them on just so I wouldn't have to worry about it later since I'd more than likely be trading the car in before it hits 60-70k. Coincidentally, probably the same time it's due for it's next set of brakes. In the event that I do need rotors, same place has them anywhere between 120-150/pair. It's not like I'm screwed and can't drive it. It's just the brake warning sensor warning is now on, which means with highway driving I can get 2-3 weeks out of it.

Now it's time for step two: who knows a good garage?

If you go on to TDI club they have a list of trusted mechanics that do VW work, I'm sure audi isn't much different

They switched from the tub to a giant bag in what I'm assuming was a cost cutting move.

Good suggestion, but majority of the garages are in Philly :( and the closest one is about an hour away.

that's actually not as far as I thought. Via 376 and 76, google has it listed as 45 minutes, which realistically means 40 min. It's also all highway driving. I'll try them and see what they say.

It's right off the new Stanton exit of the turnpike. It's called "easy fix autos" and they have a (not very useful) website

Kenny the kangaroo had middlewarth chips for the first time ever last summer during a camping trip in Centre County. What awesome chips.

Pennsylvania is blessed with a multitude of awesome chips. But gibbles tasted like butt.
