it never did.

you just kicked me right in the nostalgia. Those things were playground currency.

Hills used to sell Icee's in NFL team cups. I had quite a bit. Probably the only Detroit Lions or San Diego Chargers anything I've owned.

The thing is, chief, I'm not a Hollywood actress (and, considering her "talent", I'm using that term very charitably).

As a public figure who makes money off the way she looks, she's fair game.

She's won an Oscar and is making $10M a movie. I doubt she loses any sleep over internet critics.

Here's a question:

When you order delivery, do you only tip on top of what the food costs (e.g. food costs $10, so you tip $1.50), or do you tip on the food plus the delivery charge (so it now costs ~ $12)?

I tip whatever a gallon of gas is. So these days I tip about $4.

i usually tip like $3 or $4 unless making change after the tip would involve me getting back less than 2 dollars, in which case i just let them keep the extra, too

That's what ended up happening when I did 15% of the order plus delivery charge. Ended up being like $4.

I've had back to back people last year try to walk off with my change. Usually if a driver reaches in their pocket and says $16.85 after I hand them a $20, there's a very good chance I'm gonna say keep it. If I'm slow on the draw and they start counting out singles, I'll more than likely do the same and will just tell them to keep it.

But if it's in the $12-13 range and I hand them a $20, I expect some change back. But this thing where they think they're gonna walk off with a $7-8 tip on a pizza that they drove a mile to deliver, that's not gonna happen. That's a good way to get zero-tipped real quick.

I don't always zero-tip, but when I do, that person did something to deserve it.
