Last weekend my sister, her friend, and the friend's husband went downtown (Harrisburg) to drink and club. They leave when the bar closes and walk outside, where a fat chick is stripping in the middle of the street. My sister's friend has a loud mouth, especially when drinking, and makes a rash comment. Well, they don't realize the girl's massive black boyfriend is there. So they drunkenly run to their car and drive away. Get to a stoplight and who's in the car next to them but the lovely couple. So they start chasing my sister and company. They get close to their exit and slam on their brakes and take it, the other car passes. They put the car in REVERSE and drive down I-81 to get back to the exit to continue chasing. Like an idiot, my sister's friend stops at a red light. This couple gets out of the car, grabs her husband, and just BEAT the everloving CRAP out of him...busted nose, broken jaw, the whole sha-bang. Friend jumps on the guy's back to get him off, to which he responds by BITING her arm and drawing blood. Guy tried to take the husband's shoes before the left, all while my sister is in the car holding onto the keys so they can get away later. She also got the license plate number.
Do they go to the police? Nah, they were drunk and are more worried about the DUI. Do they go to the hospital to get broken bones and bites treated? Nope, peroxide! (Which does nothing for cleaning wounds). So who knows what that dude had. She'll probably have to/should go get Hep shots and the works. If he had a knife or a gun, someone easily could've died.
Moral of the story; there's a reason I'm 22 and never been to downtown Harrisburg.
Side note: My sister's friend also had a cousin that was downtown one night. He was shot, had the keys to his car stolen, after which they took his car, drove back around, and shot him again. Still alive today.
Terrible stuff but the moral of this story to me is don't make rash statements to people as crazy people are here, there, and everywhere.
