not sure what planet Dungy is on with his defense of the quarterbacks. "you pay a guy a lot of money, if he gets hurt your season is over, so you have to protect them".

so rich players who werent hurt on the play deserve a flag because they want one?

That wasn't Dungy who said that it was Mark Schlereth who did.

He's had his own rules since he joined the league, there's always a missed call, made call, rule change, rule removal, something that goes Brady's way...

what are these multiple times? if he wanted to do this once, that's fine. but it's the same thing, every time these two teams play. i get it. joey porter doesn't like new england. the whole world gets it. the same argument, they took a ring away from him. guess what? 1. he got a ring. 2. that new england would have beaten the steeleres most likely regardless. that's how unprepared they were.

He's talked trash and backed it up more times than I can count throughout his career when he was a Steeler and again now that he's a Dolphin. Do you really want me to find every example of him talking trash and backing it up? Two of the more stand out moments are one when he was a Steeler against the Colts in the playoffs when in the clutch he sacked Peyton Manning twice in a row another when he became a Dolphin and people were saying he was washed up. His second year he led the league in sacks until I believe the last two games. He talks a big game and he backs it up. No question about it.

The NFL creates a rule preventing Hines Ward from headhunting and taking advantage of situations.

Stillers fans decry that the NFL is just jealous of the Stillers and Hines Ward and all his super bowl rings.

Tom Brady does not want his ankles to get busted up.

Stillers fans decry him a baby.

Are stillers fans jealous of tom bradys rings?

Yes, no, yes, yes, no.

The Hines Ward penalty is simply ridiculous, you can't HIT a guy hard because he's trying to block you, yet there's nothing to prevent the same thing from happening to you? I've never seen somebody get the protecting the QB calls that brady does. Ben literally gets at least a helmet to helmet every game (mostly cause the line is terrible and he holds on to the ball too long) but it seems like anytime Brady is hit, its a penalty, just like the thing earlier this year, when Brady even said to the one guy that it was a weak call...

If I'm jealous of anything that Tom Brady has, its definitely not his rings, if you get what I mean...

A) I'm not advocating the use of steroids, but there were no rules prohibiting them in the 70s.

B) There were rules prohibiting what New England did in regards to the spying and game tapes.

C) I'm quite sure the Steelers weren't the only team using steroids.

Whos to say the stillers were not cheating, filming other teams, etc?

Does anyone really believe the Patriots were the only ones using espionage?

i agree with you kenny. i always make two points about spygate. first one is the superbowl vs the rams. the pats coaches taped the walkthrough the day before of the rams. remember, this is the day before the biggest game of the year. if you saw something in that tape, are you really going to change your game plan the night before? do you not think this would confuse your players?

second point, i would never deny that the pats did tape other teams. but if this was such an egregious error, why did no other team bring it up? if this went so bad against the nfl, i would expect that every team would want belicheck and that entrie staff suspended for life from the nfl. the fact of the matter is, no team, besides the jets (and you don't think mangini was in on it? why wasn't he suspended/fined as well?), said anything about it. you don't think it was possible that other teams were doing the exact same thing and didn't want the whistle blown on them? im a steelers fan, but i just think most fans point to spygate as a convenient excuse instead of the fact the pats were the better team.

Then why do it? Why take away a resource to do something that wouldn't give you an advantage?

They were caught doing something illegal, saying "hey, I'm sure everyone is doing it" doesn't fly, as no one else is getting caught doing it. How in the world would anyone know that "other teams are doing it?" No one else brought it up because no one else had proof or knew what to look for. Mangini did. And again, if it doesn't give you an advantage, why do it?
