Looks like Roy has decided to take Terry over Rio. Would be pretty surprising if he left both at home. Interesting that Terry's the one who caused the problems but Rio gets left out instead.

Well, Rio can barely play, so I don't think it's that surprising.

That midfield is just blah. Downing and Milner? There are better options.

Yeah, that England roster is pretty non-threatening. I can't imagine them having a shot against any of the usual heavyweights.

Can't really disagree. Way too many uninspired losses to teams they should have beaten for Kenny to survive. Blowing a 2-0 lead @QPR was probably the death knell.

Really hoping for AVB or Klopp to take over.

My top 5 replacements would be:

1. AVB
2. Jurgen Klopp
3. Brendan Rodgers
4. Paul Lambert
5. Rafa.... I can't believe that I actually typed that

Not sure if Klopp would be a good fit at Liverpool. I don't think he'll leave Dortmund anytime soon anyway.

I'm going to set up an LGP Euro 2012 selection pool. We could have upwards of....5 entries?

I think I'm holding my nose and rooting for Bayern. I don't want to see Drogba ever win the CL.

Watch Chelsea nick one on the counter. Could easily be 2 or 3-0.

I don't want to go so far as to say that Chelsea are playing for penalties with 60 minutes left including e.t., but, they are 7 or 8 behind the ball at all times.

Chelsea have been architects of their own downfall tonight. parking the bus and inviting this much pressure was always going to end with a Bayern goal. I'm glad, go Bayern!

Just FYI, Cech considers Robben a very close family friend. Robben apparently constantly beat him at tennis. I guess they are even now :) ...

Saw an incredibly stupid report on German TV yesterday, about Chelsea becoming the first London team to win the Champions League and the whole city celebrating. Right, all London is delighted, especially the people in Tottenham, whose team now misses out on the CL. Which is a stupid ruling, imo. They finished 4th, so they should have the right get a chance to qualify.

Personally, I disagree. I think Chelsea's "right" to defend trumps a 4th place finish. 4 teams per league is enough, so I don't support making it 5 in these circumstances either.
