I've just finished the translation of a book about his life. The publisher will be equally annoyed and pleased.

Vilanova steps down due to illness. So sad. All the best, Tito.

Quality stuff. Why would the publisher be annoyed?

He'll have to make some changes to a manuscript that has already seen major changes due to the author's apparent aversion to historical accuracy. An aversion that her English publisher, unfortunately, didn't seem to mind.

Edit: Sorry, I probably should point out that the translation was English to German.

Napoli are supposedly after Higuain now. Arsenal plays Napoli at the Emirates in two weeks. Imagine that scene if he signs for them and Arsenal have signed no one.

I have to say that I've really enjoyed going to riverhounds games this year. That I can bike there on the recently opened section of the GAP trail made it even better.

The stadium is a cool venue and it was a great experience last night. Angulo's strike was absolutely quality. Although Wigan doesn't have world class talent, their roster is still full of guys who are recognizable to anyone who follows the game in England. I've been a big fan of Grant Holt going back to his Shrewsbury days. I couldn't help but think, here's Ben Watson who scored the F.A. Cup final winning goal in front of 90,000+ at Wembley now playing in front of 4,000. Kinda humbling.

I can't tell if the USA-El Salvador game is really this exciting or if Gus Johnson makes it seem that way. Either way I'm loving it.

Watching the US game on replay and just saw the penalty call against Beasley. It's crap. You shouldn't be able to foul a person with your back if your trying to play the ball. If Beasley goes down, I'd expect a foul on the El Sal player. Same as you wouldn't call a foul on the defender shielding out for a GK.

Edit: Yeah, blocking fouls should only be called if an arm comes up. For Instance, if player A megs player B, and player B wants to shield player A, he should have every right to.

I just don't understand why after all these years of being a prude Wenger is going to splash the cash on Suarez.

If Suarez goes to Arsenal, I'd definitely like them less. Conversely, I'd like Liverpool more if he left. He might be my least favorite player considering the biting, diving, potentially racist comments, and handball in 2010 World Cup.

Yeah, I really don't like him. I've only been closely following EPL the past two years, and I sort of fell into being an Arsenal fan based upon childhood days and Arsene seeming to have a thing for youth over established talent (just being cheap, it turns out). I think I would probably switch my primary allegiance to Norwich City if Suarez lands at Arsenal, if it could even be seen as a "switch." I have enjoyed having a top table and mid-table team to follow, though.

I've been an Arsenal fan since 2000. So, even if Suarez signs, I'm not switching allegiances at this point.

Suarez thinks the British media hates him so he would move...to London.

Suarez brings a lot of it on himself but I have to laugh any time someone has a gripe with his handball. What player wouldn't do what he did? Its not his fault Gyan missed the penalty.

Phil Neville did the same exact thing in the Merseyside Derby and Liverpool scored the winner. I don't remember seeing any chatter about how unsporting Phil Neville is.
