There was contact and he decided to embellish it. Terrible, but it looks worse in slow motion than it actually was, I thought sending him off was a little harsh. That said, the ref was crap the whole game. OM's goal was clearly offside and Lewandowski was denied a penalty shot.

And speaking of offside:

As of now, Blackburn's rival, Burnley, is one of the promotions from the Championship. I would probably follow them just to root against them if they got promoted, just as a way to get back into EPL outside of just watching the best matchup each weekend. I barely know whats going on these past two years outside of the top clubs.

RVP being out for a month is surely the end of United's title bid. On top of that, the games will be even more dreadful to watch without him.

Anybody else think that Cabaye is the player United should have bought? He isn't world class but he could certainly bridge the gap in between developing a midfielder from within or buying a world class midfielder in a couple of years.

No, he'd never get in the team ahead of Cleverley.

I hope you are being facetious because Cleverley is rubbish.

I only saw the last 30 minutes, but that seems right to me. Arsenal has been successful this season by playing very fluidly, with a really amorphous formation. City can match them for skill, but have more of a defined spine to the team with Toure, Fernandinho, and Kompany.

Sunday showed the difference between keeping your best player and selling your best player. Incredible with all of the money Spurs spent they didn't strengthen their defense and didn't buy a top half caliber striker.

Gaucho would you still take Oscar, Reues, RVP...etc. over Suarez?

There are a couple players I'd never take out of spite & disdain. Robben, Ribery, and Suarez are among them.

That being said, Suarez is definitely in the conversation for best striker in the world at the moment.

I don't recall Suarez spitting, refresh my memory. None of them are saints but for me Neal's knee against Boston was about as despicable an act as I've ever seen.

Oh, I forgot the biting. The spitting happened in his time at Ajax, iirc.
