Did you read my previous post?

If you want to substitute hyperbole for logic then there is nothing for me to discuss.

I'll wholeheartedly agree to that.

Anything to deflect attention from Suarez diving again, right? There would be no "that night in Istanbul" talk if Gerrard doesn't dive against Mee-lawn, FAHCT (in Rafa accent).

Considering a goalie a diver...that's adorable.

The standard Johnny Foreigner line...deary me.

I imagine he brought up Arsenal because it was suggested Arsenal don't engage in such shenanigans. And Gattuso should have been sent off for pulling Gerrard down.

What? Who suggested Arsenal doesn't engage in such shenanigans? Well, lately anyhow, they certainly haven't engaged in the same shenanigans Liverpool players have. I even admitted that Cazorla and Pires have dived in the past, which nobody seems capable of doing in regard to Liverpool players. It's funny how in the past 4+ years none of those players have played for Arsenal aside from one emergency appearance by Lehman in 2011 where he came out of retirement. And again, a keeper as a diver? Get serious.

Lulz at the Gattuso comment. Kinda like Skrtel (or Carragher before he retired) hanging on players and shirt pulling on every corner?

I don't think I've denied that Liverpool players dive, because everyone dives. Look, if you want to invent things that people are saying or not saying, go right ahead. I'll just stop replying if that's the case. Though you really should post under your ExPatriatePen screen name- alternates are frowned upon here.

Last I checked, reaching out and grabbing a player to pull him down, while legal in American football, is illegal in soccer. Gattuso clipped Gerrard's heel and put his arm on Gerrard's shoulder to take him out. Should have been a red card since Gattuso was the last man back and denied a goal scoring opportunity. I wish Skrtel would get called for shirt pulling, because maybe then NBCSN's announcers would stop harping on it every time he does it as if he's the only defender who pulls on a jersey on free kicks these days because refs let mayhem go in the box in both directions.

I think we can all agree (and even me, unfortunately; the only United fan on the board, I think) that United is trash right now. Even if they win against Sunderland today.

--- Edit: And they lost. Against Sunderland. At home, with an away goal to boot. LOL. :face:

Holding my hand up. Looks like I'm set to be wrong about Mata. I just can't believe Jose would sell him to United.

Today's EPL news:

Essien signs with AC Milan.
Chelsea is delaying Mata's transfer to ensure they sign Mohamed Salah first. (Source. This is the same guy that Liverpool is also trying to sign; will be interesting if Liverpool gets him, meaning Mata won't be able to sign with United, maybe?)
Everton signs Traore (the Lacina version) from AS Monaco on loan.

Everton now has a pretty good 1-2 punch for forward through the rest of the season.

I was really starting to believe in Everton as a threat to take 4th spot from Liverpool, and then they went and drew with West Brom. But, yeah, that seems like a good move.

The Mourinho/Wenger spat is amusing.

Did the Traore loan go through? I thought it might be off with Falcao getting injured.

Everton posted it on their twitter, so I'm assuming it's official.

I just saw that too. It should keep things interesting in terms of allowing some lesser teams to keep advancing.

We seem to have a drawing problem. Wracked with injuries at the moment as well, which isn't good because the squad is not very deep.

That's not brutal. Brutal is playing Erzgebirge Aue on a Friday night in December and watching Francky Sembolo trying to impersonate a professonal football player.
