I really like Kroos. He needs to leave that sh*t club asap. And take Alaba with him.

Does Ozil get into the German starting 11 right now?

Manuel Neuer disagrees with the red card for Szczesny.

Geeze, did Szczesny date this Fox guy's sister or something? "Two positives: It could have been worse and Szczesny is suspended."

I'm only listening, who said that? I don't think it was Barton, and it wasn't Wynalda.

Apparently Rooney signed a new 4.5 year deal at Manchester United. Worth up to 300,000 pounds a week. A $26,000,000 a year deal.

I like Rooney, and consider him one of the best... well, whatever his position should be, he's one of the better ones in the world (second striker? attacking midfield? Striker?)... but I'm not sure this was the best move for United at this time. He's their best choice in a position of depth for them, with Mata, Januzaj, Kagawa, etc.

Might not be the best move financially, but if they sold Rooney that would be the nail in the coffin for Moyes and ManU, imo.

Selling Rooney would hardly have ruined United. The times when he's fit, interested, and in form are increasingly few. And, being endlessly unlikeable, he's not much of a marketing tool. Just a tool, really.

When your squad could use an entirely new back four, generating revenue from a position of strength seems a decent idea to me.

They'll sell RVP instead.

I think I'll be in Florida for the summer, and I think the final of the tournament is slated for Miami. I'll probably try to go to that game, if the tickets aren't insanely expensive. I'm not a hardcore supporter of any of the teams playing, so I won't pay too much to see preseason games, but I enjoyed the Barcelona/Chivas game down there a couple years ago.

They don't need to sell players to re-make their back 4. Cash isn't the issue there.

The squad is starved for talent, you start selling your best talents away it just creates another need and sends the wrong message to the squad and potential recruits.

I got really good seats for the Man City/AC Milan game in Pittsburgh. I think they were $125.

My favorite part is before the game, all of the folks on Fox Soccer were saying, "I think Man U's back, and they're gonna win this game."

*raises hand* David Moyes is a great mid table manager for a mid table team

Cash is always an issue for clubs not named Man City and PSG, and it's certainly an issue for a club carrying a large amount of debt.

And, as I spelled out, on most matchdays Rooney barely registers as "talent."
