So the cops can keep the Rock out but Maddox sneaks his way in and hops the barrier and no one does anything

I wish people were more into that e wrestling thing Canaan ran a few months back. I just came up with a great character. His name is Byron von Botch. He cuts nervous and cliche ridden promos,.and all his finishing moves are basic moves he screws up and drops people on their heads. That would have been awesome.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of a character built around botched moves.

Von Botch goes for the scoop slam and... OH MY GOD! HE DROPPED HIM RIGHT ON HIS HEAD! what's this? He's going to the top rope... He's going to try a moonsault... AAAAAGH HIS KNEES HIT HIS OPPONENT RIGHT IN THE FACE! HE MIGHT BE DEAD!

That would be so awesome

well, clumsy is one thing. i guess "accidentally awesome" is probably a better way to describe it.

I may or may not have watched Shaq being put in the camel clutch tonight on TNT during a halftime show.

No, I'm fairly certain that happened.

Not gonna throw this in spoiler tags since it's nothing but a guess from me, but I'm expecting to see 2 of these 4 people in the Rumble: Booker T, King, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Regal. Guessing King goes in for a minute or so, and Regal enters the Rumble halfway through.

From Way Barruh's twitter, a possible entry at the Rumble.
Just bumped into Papa Shango at Hooters. Told me he's entering the @WWE #RoyalRumble this year. Can't wait, one of my faves.

Edit: taking the spoiler tags off of this. This is a running joke with Barrett namedropping Papa Shango into random events.

This one won't be at the Rumble due to prior committments
Spoiler:
On Rikishi Appearing In The Rumble: "I do know that they had contacted Rikishi, but he had a prior commitment that he could not get out of. My son Brian told me that it was just a commitment he literally could not get out of even though he really wanted to [be in the Rumble]."

Jim Ross won't be at the Rumble due to the flu.
‏@JRsBBQ
“@TheReal_MJC: @JRsBBQ will you be calling the rumble match?” No..watching the PPV from home. @ShawnMichaels @JerryLawler @JCLayfield got it

My bad @MichaelCole @JerryLawler @JCLayfield assume calling the #royalrumble sunday in Phoenix. NOT @ShawnMichaels. Flu induced watery eyes

The flu is a bear. Trip to hospital last nite for chest x-ray. Back to Dr's ofc this am for results & to eliminate pneumonia as possibility.

I fell asleep early during RAW monday and cuaght the reply tonight some, when a bunch of the participants for the Rumble all came out at the end to say they'd win it. What a horrible roster this year is, couple that with they keep emphasizing "The winner will HEADLINE WrestleMania" and I dont think theres any way Cena doesnt win this. Just a complete bore if that happens but hopefully I'll be sauced up enough from the Pens game I wont care. (Or I'll put the nearest person to me in the Bob Backland crossface chicken wing)

Predictions?

Will they go with the obvious and most direct way to Wrestlemania with Rock taking the title from Punk and Cena winning the Rumble?

The only hope that Punk goes over is that there's another PPV before Mania. That PPV just so happens to be Elimination Chamber which would be a way to have Rock get the title without pinning Punk.

Then there are the dark horse Rumble winners: Ziggler, Ryback, Heath Slater.

Should be fun.

I'm all in for the Rumble. Never missed a rumble in my life. Would order just for the Rumble match itself, but I want to see Punk/Rock, though I may not like the outcome.
