No more than most reality tv. The great majority of reality TV is loosely based on actual story lines, but that "drama," while not completely fabricated, is forced to the cameras. And still some drama is indeed all fake.

Here's some good examples from the Divas show

Completely real: Divas match cancelled, girls upset
Forced: Inviting Natalya to front office to tell her she won't wrestle at Wrestlemania
Fake: The girl vetoing the front office and deciding on her own to dye her hair red.

You just have to take it for what it's worth.

I fully believe the WrestleMania match was only made for the intention of being "cut" for the drama and tension created on the show. It made no sense for that not to be the pre-show match instead of Miz/Barrett. Unless P Diddy didn't perform, there was really no room for it.

watching this Total Divas. Usually I dig breaking kayfabe but this sucks. I HATE hearing him refered to a Bryan and seeing him with Cena hanging out. Totally ruins SummerSlam for me. I've always loved brie bella but nikki seems like a giant B. and lol at that girls meeting with Fandango

I like how they made Fandango seem like a top level superstar. lol

What has he ever done to get such a push? He made it to Wrestlemania right off the bat.

So, Ring of Fire match must just be another name for an Inferno match right? And that match sucked.

Agreed, the Shield has run their course. When they didn't lose the tag titles to the Usos it was kind of like "well these guys will never lose and it will be par for the course ho hum."

Also, was that a heel turn for Orton last night or did he just leave the match?

I don't want to say they have run their course, but they definitely are in a circling pattern. I'm not sure what else can be done with them and I'm guessing WWE is thinking the same thing.

They needed to be tied into Maddox, Heyman, or Punk. In the end, they spent several months attacking stars and helping Punk, which significantly affected the top of the organization and the WWE title. Yet, we were never told why they were doing that. At best, we had a lazy "we paid the Shield" from Heyman to Maddox, but that was so unsatisfying. If they wanted a whole change-the-WWE approach, they could have tried that angle too. But going from the attack everyone angle to mere tag and US champions without any direction is kind of lame no matter how awesome the three are.

I'm pretty pumped for Summer Slam, they have built to this way better than they built to Wrestlemania.

They should have Rollins do a face turn and feud with Ambrose, and bump the other guy down the card a bit because he ain't very good

i mean, at least he's a big guy using a spear for a finish. i have real issues with Christian using it these days. He's what... like maybe 215 or 220 lbs? It was good when goldberg or rhino used it because those were big scary dudes. Edge... ok, pushing it a little bit, especially when he had like 5 different finishers. I'm even ok with Kaitlyn using it, because she is the powerhouse of the divas division.

i just don't like christian doing it, especially because he has one of the more dynamic and interesting finishers around. Unless he was told not to use it because it's a head drop, or something.

You mean to say you didn't want the payoff to The Shield being paid by Heyman to be HHH vs Lesnar?!

This Total Divas show is crap. It really is. I've tried for 2 1/2 shows and it's uninteresting to say the least
