They can still keep Bryan strong, but dammit I hated to see him lose the title like that even if I knew it was coming.

His character just got incredibly sympathetic. I like it. Its not like he's suddenly going back down the ladder. He'll have a huge push and a run for the title.

He SHOULD have a huge push and a run for the title. Things have gotten derailed before. That being said I hope they follow though with it if that is what they plan, because it would work.

I agree. Thought it was a good PPV. and with Cena taking some time off for the elbow, I think they maximized the interest that way. I just LOVE that Cena actually lost clean. That was more shocking than anything to me, but I think wwe did okay tonight.

Brock/Lesnar was a MOTY candidate easily. Cena/Bryan was very very good. Del Rio/Christian was also very good. Rhodes/Sandow was passable. Wyatt/Kane was pretty bad. The mixed tag was pretty bad. The big two matches delivered as well as Del Rio/Christian... so I'm happy with the money spent.

Every match ended clean, right, aside from RVD - Ambrose?

Wyatt vs Kane ended when the Wyatt family got in the ring and attacked kane allowing Bray to get the win. Not clean

Other than that though... I mean Punk vs Lesnar was no DQ so clean doesn't apply there.

It may have been predictable, but I loved the ending, especially after the match Cena and Bryan had. It had me going for a while myself.. That being said this is going to make Bryan the most over guy in the business, although I already thought he was imo.

http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/19272/the-del-rio-mcintyre-fight-triple-hs-wikipedia

As noted earlier, the reason Alberto Del Rio was sporting a black eye heading into his match with Christian at the SummerSlam pay-per-view on Sunday night was because of a physical altercation that took place either late Saturday night, or early into Sunday.

While there isn't a lot of specifics that can be provided at this point, it is known that the World Heavyweight Champion was involved in a real-life brawl with fellow WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre. Apparently the two got into a scuffle at some point, and the fight resulted in noticeable physical damage to both men.

WWE explained the black eye during the pay-per-view by saying it was the result of Christian hitting the Killswitch on Del Rio during Friday's edition of SmackDown. However, the black eye, as well as a lot of the bruises on Del Rio's face were the direct result of the fight with McIntyre.

I saw a bad quality upload of the Punk/Lesner match, but holy crap that was a good match.

Played off the fact that Lesner's a beast very well. Probably the best I've seen of a powerhouse vs smaller guy (while still making the smaller guy seem capable).

Cena announces he's leaving 4-6 weeks, and he gets the biggest pop that he's had in months.

Without Cena it is going to be very interesting to see who they push in his absence. Orton's already an established guy and Bryan was well on his way. They should start with the ground up on someone else.

Del Rio is still sporting the black eye that Mcintyre gave him in a locker room brawl. And the WWE is still selling it as coming from Christian. lulz.

I liked how the king got excited that he was back and JBL acted as if it were not a big deal.
