This has been a pretty awful show.

Also hate that Cena is back already at the HITC PPV. The guy needs time off.

Well at least Big Show knocking out HHH got a big pop at the end. Bryan still mega over despite being booked like trash pretty much.

That was such an odd announcement. They're rushing him back. When he had surgery, people were saying they'd be surprised if he was back in time for the rumble. That said, I can see it being a case of Vicki trying to one up Maddox in the eyes of Stephanie and not actually discussing this with Cena.

*edit* okay maybe not. Cena tweeted.

You heard it on #RAW, @WWE Universe. Hell in a Cell vs. @VivaDelRio for the WHC. The Champ is... Back! #EvenStronger

Cena confirmed on Twitter he is back for HITC, so no matter what he is back.

That would be awesome, but how does WWE expect anyone to buy Sandow as champ.. when all he does is lose... pretty much every single match.

His match tonight, where he dominated the entire time only to lose in the last 30 seconds makes me think that's his storyline to cash in.

If it continues the next two weeks, I'm thinking we'll see it happen.

I still don't see how the causal fan will buy him as champ. I mean he gets next to no reaction when he comes out. He loses all the time. They love doing this, they did it with Ziggler too when he cashed in, and we see how that turned out.

I like the guy, I like his gimmick.. I just don't see how the non-hardcore fan buys into him as champ.

The Rumble in Pittsburgh is official!

WWE announced that the 2014 Royal Rumble pay-per-view will be held in Pittsburgh, Pa. at the Consol Energy Center on January 26. The pre-sale ticket event is underway using the password RUMBLE via Ticket Master. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Robert Rae]

Powell's POV: Tickets to the general public go on sale on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET. WWE previously announced that the Elimination Chamber will be held in Minneapolis at Target Center, and WrestleMania 30 will be held in New Orleans, La. at the Superdome.

Yeah I'm hoping the presale begins tomorrow. I haven't been to a live event in 10 years. Love to get to the Rumble.

I was at Summer Slam 95, and the KOTR where Foley got thrown off the cell. Been to a bunch of Raws since then, but not a big PPV. So hopefully I will be able to get tickets. Plus Rumbles are always fun.

Looks like wednesday for pre-sale.

From Prowrestling.net:

WWE announced that the 2014 Royal Rumble pay-per-view will be held in Pittsburgh, Pa. at the Consol Energy Center on January 26. The pre-sale ticket event begins Wednesday using the password RUMBLE via Ticketmaster. Fans who attended Raw were able to purchase tickets afterward.

Tickets to the general public go on sale on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET. WWE previously announced that the Elimination Chamber will be held in Minneapolis at Target Center, and WrestleMania 30 will be held in New Orleans, La. at the Superdome.

I remember attending Raw and house shows in the early to mid 90s. I loved I could get a level B seat at Mellon for like $20/25. I can't fathom the prices these days.

Eh prices aren't awful these days unless you want floor seats. I'm sure the upper levels for the Rumble won't be more than 30$ or so + ticketmaster fees.

I used to love going to the old Superstars tapings. Those would routinely go 4 hours. Of course, you have to watch Man Mountain Rock wrestle three times but small price to pay.

House shows can be more fun that TV/PPV shows at times.

A lot of jobber matches tonight.

Also a little strange R-Truth and Punk were best bros in a tag match.

But I'll tell you what, I've waited my entire life to see Shawn Michaels in Pittsburgh. Too bad I'll never get to see him in a match.

I got 3 tix to Royal Rumble tonight to the side of the entrance for $26 each. At CEC box office though. Floor seats were going for $500 from what I heard while in line.
