Report from last night:
We sat in section 101 the crowd was beyond dead. Plants were used in the crowd wearing neon green wristbands. we found 3 people with them on in 102 which is dead center camera side. We asked them if they were to switch seats. Their response was we are crowd fillers and we are to remain here all night unless someone has these tickets. We asked half way through the show when it was obvious no one was coming.

Crowd was dead as said earlier in the thread. The upper bowl was all blolcked with the exception of the camera side.

On Rumble: they gave us flyers before they announced it in the building so I gave up watching the show half way through to see if there was any line. When I arrived there was only 10 people in line. The line went to about 30 deep. At this point security tried to break up the line saying we were causing a comotion(which there was none at all) and we needed to split up and break up any type of line. I am guessing that they were trying to get people to return to their seats. Once the show ended the line grew to the hundreds. They finally opened the line saying that only people at the event can buy tickets and there will be no competition(Internet, presales, or what not) he did mention though some seats were reserved ringside for presales, VIPS, etc.. The prices he gave were $500.00 ringside, $420 ringside(rows B-D) $125 for floor/club $90 for 100's. They said the 200 level would not be available at this time. After that they opened the box office. The people in front of me had no interest in ringside so when I came up I said what the h*** and asked for ringside. I ended up getting seats either behind King, Cole, JBL or the spanish announce table.

I know, I know, cool story bro but I thought I would give you all the heads up on what to expect.

From Prowrestling.net:

WWE announced that the 2014 Royal Rumble pay-per-view will be held in Pittsburgh, Pa. at the Consol Energy Center on January 26. The pre-sale ticket event begins Wednesday using the password RUMBLE via Ticketmaster. Fans who attended Raw were able to purchase tickets afterward.

Tickets to the general public go on sale on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET. WWE previously announced that the Elimination Chamber will be held in Minneapolis at Target Center, and WrestleMania 30 will be held in New Orleans, La. at the Superdome.

presale is happening right now with that code

Has anyone ever sat in the 200 level about parallel to where the stage would be? That's the cheapest option but I don't want to be obstructed.

Thanks.
I'm looking at section 234.

This was my view from 234 Row D last night. Bear in mind I could see none of the stage or titantron, just what was photographed. That may be different though with a ppv setup.

Wow, thanks. Section 204 is about 30 dollars more. Not sure if that's worth it...

I've sat in 234 for a couple shows. They're good seats, I don't like the spot lights WWE puts on the metal ring above the ring because they are on ALL THE TIME and cause me a headache.

We got 11 tickets in the last row of 204. Should be a crapshow.

According to another thread, Columbus had about 60 fillers in one section last night.

Another chikara update...

What looks to be happening to all the "Wrestling Is..." promotions is that old villains are coming out of the woodwork to shut them down.

First, was the champion, Eddie Kingston, who had a heel turn last year.

Then, Dr. Cube, who was the top heel in kaiju big battel.

Then GEKIDO, which were former failed trainees who tried to invade 2 years ago

Now, Sinn Bodhi, who wrestled in WWE as kizarny, who was the big bad 3 years ago.

There is speculation that this could mean a return of the BDK, which is the BIGGEST angle the company has ever run. They were their nWo.

Stuff has really ramped up the last couple weeks.

when i went to the chikara website, it had a grouping of 8 people that "liked" chikara on facebook and said that there was 17k people that had done the same. your picture was in that grouping. is that sheer luck or programming kung-fu?

Awesome. If theres one thing WWE needs more of, its segments with horrible fake cop actors issuing arrests.

How was Big Show fired? Didn't he have an agreement that prevented him from being fired?

A few weeks back Stephanie explained how it became null and void somehow...In keeping with the Big Show, he got a bigger pop than Bryan and it was prety sweet. I like the Big Show when he is a face. It's like you see more of his personality coming out. Everything else with the excpetion of Bruno and HBK blew.

Yeah, he was the #2 guy, but there were like 10 of them, and aside from him and Sara Del Ray, who took a job training women in the wwe, all are still either working in the Indy circuit or out of wrestling. It would really only need to be Ares, the leader of the group, and/or Tursas, the token big guy. That would be enough.
