The rumor was Show/HHH at Survivor Series, and that seemed to be the set up at the end of Raw -- Orton was down and out and they teased HHH fighting Show. That's fine, though it's typical HHH limelighting, as long as it's not the main event. Punk and the Wyatts should be interesting. I don't know where Kane goes from here if he's joining the authority. Could we get Bryan Orton 4? There's no clear direction for him after the HBK tradeoff. I just read the highlights by the way; I didn't watch the show.

EDIT: Just saw that the Wyatts went after Bryan too.

Well it looks like Hulk Hogan will be around for WrestleMania. HHH vs Hogan for control of the company?? Hulk being chosen by Vince to fight for the wwe?

The overall show, and the wrestling was the best raw has been in a while. Some of the booking decisions though... ugh.

For a moment I thought Cena actually came back to put over Sandow, and then head back to rehab the tricep. It would have made Sanddow a bigger heel the way he took Cena out.

lol nope!

I don't get the point of giving Sandow the briefcase if they were just going to job him out to Cena anways. It doesn't do anything for Sandow's character. It's not like people a year from now are gonna say "Remember that time Sandow fought Cena? He didn't win but he put up a good fight." Even the win itself doesn't do much for Cena's character. Yeah, we get it, Cena overcame the odds and won again.

They could have booked Ryder, Heath Slater or the Brooklyn **** Brawler in the same slot and the end result would have been the same.

The Wyatts are boring. Didn't we just have to sit through months of the Shield 3-person group coming in and destroying people. zzzzz

so another Chikara update... (suspension of disbelief required here)

a quick refresher... a couple of years ago (in universe), Chikara was purchased by a corporation called the Titor Conglomerate. After the shady finish at the iPPV in June where Chikara was seemingly killed, it was revealed that Titor had ties to all sorts of evil endeavors.

ok, so the former commissioner of chikara was on twitter yesterday, and apologized for his role in the death of chikara. He revealed that Titor had purchased Chikara in hopes of raising an army. This, coupled with the re-emergence of the Eye of Tyr, an artifact that grants its owner mind control powers, explains why over the last 2 years, wedges have been driven between the members of the strongest factions in the company, and certain members of the roster had drastic changes in personality.

This is a lot of fun following, and trying to piece everything together. There is another rally in Philly on saturday. signs are again pointing at something significant happening.

I think it is really cool. Too bad bigger promotions don't have the same creative juices flowing.

well, they only typically run like 20 shows a year. it's easier to be creative when you only have 2 shows a month. But this angle in particular is encompassing events from like 5 or 6 years ago. It's really ambitious.

Starting to agree. Now if the people they were distroying were coming back as part of their stable or even if Kane came back as a brainwashed monster it could be interesting but there's nothing keeping them interesting right now.

Wow I read the attendance at Hell In A Cell was only 9,000. and that's even after the unbelievably miraculous unexpected return of John Cena

Do you think that if attendance and ratings numbers really go into the toilet that the WWE will turn Cena heel? I think it will take something along those lines to get me watching again.

I don't think they will ever turn Cena heel sadly. It just won't happen. Turning Cena heel would be interesting, but they have other issues as well. Certainly not a fix all. It's sad cause there have some really good talent and wrestlers right now.

Wasn't that a Miami crowd too? I thought Miami was one of those places on the WWE map that always draws fans.

Why is Cena so immune to heel turns? Hogan did it, The Rock did it, Stone Cold did it, Bret Hart did it. All of them had a younger following yet it didn't effect anything.

I thought I read that Cena had no problem with it, but Vince wouldn't do it because Cena is his face of the company.

Two notes: Stephanie has said that WWE Network will be available in the first quarter of 2014.

And on the conference call, Vince called Summerslam a "disappointment," and said fans weren't interested in seeing the "attraction" they put on. A "swing and a miss." Wonder if this means Bryan is going to be moved out of the title scene?

This is why Cena won't turn heel.

SummerSlam had two of the better matches of the year in Cena/Bryan(ending notwithstanding), and Punk/Lesnar.

And the buy rates were horrible for one of the big four PPVs. That's all WWE cares about.
