Technically yes but it's not nearly as strict as in the past. "Smackdown" stars appear on Raw regularly and vice versa.

During the diva elimination tag match on RAW last week, AJ had by far the biggest pop out of that crapfest. Yet she is non existent on that show.

2 of my friends watch that show with their wives. I guess it's a smart move by E! and WWE to combine some ratings. I personally refuse to watch.

The thing is they think the people that watch Total Divas.. watch the actual wrestling product when its obvious that there is little to no crossover between the shows.

Your right I just refuse to give the E! network ratings. I guess I should have been more specific.

The rumors have stated Roman Reigns is in line for a huge baby-face push, and SS gave credence to that rumor. Now, rumors suggest Reigns may win the RR and will at least be a huge player. Count me in. Reigns is awesome as long as you overcome your reflexive hate because he's big.

Reigns has improved leaps and bounds from when he started. Still think he is the 3rd best member of the Shield, but I enjoy watching him work now.

Sorry, I'm not in to this Reigns thing. When a guy gets a push he is on top of the world. WWE does good with that. I see this guy jobbing to Cena in 4 or 5 months.

Think about the following
Del Rio
Ryback
Sandow
Ziggler
Curis Axel

I think Triple H, Vince, or Stephanie will nit pick him just like the above mentioned.

WWE's relucatnce to really put over the next generation of main eventers is going to eventually hurt them down the road. Cena has been on top for the better part of almost 8 years or so now easily. Hulk Hogan who was one of if no the biggest drawing wrestlers ever was getting ready to job to Yokozuna and leave WWF at this point of his time on top. Rock and Austin never has runs like this. All those guys had other factors that ended their runs though I guess... Austin with injuries, Rock wanting to do Hollywood, and Hogan jumping ship. Cena has none of that... he just wants to wrestle and there are no rival promotions to go to. It stinks. They could freshen CEna up big time if they weren't afraid of being bold and turning him, or using him to put over the next generation of young guys. When I say that I don't mean just one off, I mean putting them over and then have those guys keep getting pushed not getting their legs cut out from under them before they really get going... see Ziggler, Bryan, Sandow etc.

I still say the only way to turn him would be against Taker at WM30. After 20 minutes of trying everything in the book and Taker kicking out, Cena ends up winning via some type of shady finish (chair, taser, brass knucks, etc.) The fans that already dislike him would....ok, nothing would change except they might dislike him even more, and the 13 and under Cena fans would turn on him because he was their hero who resorted to cheating to break "The Streak". Add in some backstage segments with a few fan favorites like Bryan and Punk, and it would only add fuel to the fire.

That said, I'm sure the story itself would be more complicated than that and the odds of it happening are similar to being hit by a bolt of lightning twice in the same day.

I could see Cena totally getting cheered by a majority of the audience if they actually turn him heel. Much like he was cheered when he was a heel back in his Dr. of Thuganomics days.

^this^

I believe with the large percent of the adult audience that watches he already is kind of a heel. All this would do is just switch the 50/50 audience the other way. He would have to do something epic to get 100% of the audience to hate him. Like when Austin teamed up with Vince and the corperation wich still didn't completely work cause those bits with Debra's cookies and Austin's singing were pretty funny.

This is why face vs face matches work for Cena. Punk ran good programs with him. Bryan-Cena worked brilliantly for this reason. But you can't do Orton-Cena because everyone hates Orton and 50% like Cena.

Would Super Cena be tolerable if he was a heel?

You could give someone a big push in an attempt to finally be the guy to beat Cena.

Why do they always do the mood lighting when he wrestles? To hide all his botches? If this were real and I fought him I'd be PO'ed

I think the lighting IS partially due to the fact that he sucks.
